Well hello there. Tomorrow I am taking delivery of my new Tundra Crewmax and I was curious about how much room is there behind the back seat? As soon as i get it I plan on doing a full audio build. In my last truck, I had 2 10in JL W7s and I'm pretty positive that they won't fit behind the back seat because I know there is a good amount of space back there but not that much. So I was wondering if anyone has made custom fiberglass enclosures that may possibly fit these subs so I don't have to buy new ones.

TW5 or TW3 will improve the stock set up. That being said and coming from JLAudio W7's, the TW5 and TW3 come no where close to W7's.

I know but they were only 10in w7s so they werent to ridiculous I mean they were do get me wrong but I was listening to my dads tw5 in his truck and he only has 1 13.5 and it shocked me how well it sounded and how deep it actually hit. I was very impressed and im sure the 13.5s will make up for the 10s.

Ya I’m trying to figure out how to get 1 10w7 in my truck. I’ll prolly end up bring it to the shop and see what they can come up with, I have a 18 double cab and would like to maintain access to the under seat storage

One of the few issues with our trucks. No room for anything below or behind the back seats.

I will say that there is no way that that sub is going to fit underneath that seat. The only option you have is to build a console box. Thos subs mounting depth is a little over 8.5in. In my old truck a (dodge ram) it has those cubbies under the seats and the only way I fit the subs was I lifted my seat up 2in and used the top part of a ported fox acoustics box and I had to make fiberglass cubbies for them to fit. The only way that sub is going anywhere in that truck is a console or on the seat lol
