Belong to several sites related to my toys but found this one by looking for solutions to a problem. Unfortunately I have treated my 2014 like a truck but trying to improve its appearance and repair my careless stewardship. Starting by replacing tailgate due to trailering damage… As with all sites finding I’m finding many answers. Mine lives at the beach in the Florida panhandle….has towed trailer toys and done well except for gas mileage and brake rotors. Working on improving box trailer towing…..it dances too much but so would most:pick ups of its size.
    Thanks for the help….

    Welcome to the forum.

If you are after cosmetic improvement, this is the section to check. Lots of members keep their trucks prettier than they were the day they bought them. https://www.tundras.com/forums/detailing.66/ Lots of good info.

As for the trailer sway, first thing is we'd have to know how big the trailer is. If it's too big for the truck then there's only two options to fix it; new truck or new trailer. If it's within limits, but misbehaving I'd first suggest a WDH to try and get things under control. This section will have all kinds of towing goodness for you. https://www.tundras.com/forums/towing-hauling.53/

And, as all members before you have been told :worthless:

Welcome from OKC! Good on you for wanting to clean up your truck so much better than buying a new POS! Weight placement inside trailers is critical and if it sits too much the tires become ovals and it will be a problem every time regardless of what you else you try to alter.
