    Hey Guys,

I'm new here. I just purchased a new 2019 Black Tundra SR 4X4 and I'm really enjoying it.

I just received my new AMP Research Power Steps and the shop installing them is having a really hard time figuring out the wiring on this new steps.

AMP research have not installed the 75137 steps on any 2019 Tundra so I'm in uncharted territory and they cannot confirm the compatibility of the steps with my truck.

I was wondering if anyone can confirm if the 2019 Tundra is basically the same as the 2018 MY.

Any help or input is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Going to attempt to install my 2018 amps this weekend. I’m not sure if it will help or not but I will pass along any info I can.

AMP Research 75137 Power Step is confirmed to work on 2019 Tundra models. The shop I used made it work perfectly.

    3” lift on 35’s
They work on the 19’s. 18 and up requires you to tap into a certain wire under the dash next to the steering colum. Actually a very simple install

The 19 tundra has different color wiring for the driver side top plug. It is not pink with red strip. The wire is red. Just installed AMP steps for my 19 Platinum.

Hi All, resurrecting this relatively old thread.

I have a 2019 Tundra and am in the process of install the Amp Powersteps. I'm struggling to understand the wires I tap in to. The directions seem pretty vague about what wires to tap into.

I think I've located the driver's side top red wire. I'm fairly certain on that one. I'm not sure on the driver's side lower wire. The directions and pictures are pretty confusing. Anyone have a video or more precise instructions on which wire to tap into down low?

On the passenger side, I haven't even gotten their yet but I anticipate similar problems. Please help if you're able...

Had the same question installing on my '17, called Amp Tech Support and they were very knowledgable.

Thanks! I think I have the wires picked out and will give it a try. If it doesn't work, I'll call Amp. Thanks for your help!

The video posted above is a great video. However, that guys is working on a 2016 or 2017 and he doesn't show in detail the wires he picks out. He just tells you their colors and the colors changed in 2018 on the wires.
