New Phone Pairing Issues

I recently upgraded to a new iPhone and as I suspected, my truck is not pairing with my new phone. I have tried the "connect" option but with no luck.

Has anyone replaced their phone and how did you get your truck to switch to the new phone?

I had to do this recently and it was a pain. I just kept searching on my truck while having the blue tooth setting open on my phone till it finally connected. My phone and music work but I can get my text messages to display.

 

Thanks! I tried that over and over and over...no luck. I will try more since it sounds like you had the same issue. It is like my phone is not seeing the bluetooth signal from my truck.

 

It was finicky. My audio stopped connecting so I removed and then re-connected it. I remember that I shut my truck off all the way and then powered it up again. I found the message fix https://www.tundras.com/threads/text-messages-wont-appear.87345/ but I haven't been able to test it yet. Good luck!

 

Fixed...I think. I was finally able to add my new phone as a second device....seems to work fine. Now I notice that the Qi charger is crap.

 

I had issues yesterday with my Android galaxy 22 Ultra Samsung - then realized I had my VPN still on...on it.
