This is my second time joining the forum thought I was gonna get another vehicle but this one is payed for and has a forum good enough to put it back together I’ve been using it as a hvacr service truck for a year and my dad did the same with it for a couple of years I retired it out of the service business yesterday it has carried over 2000 lbs most of its life and needs some front end work and maybe a tranny it has 213000 miles I am going to access the damage over the next week and weigh cost of repair and replacement just like if it was an air conditioning system would like to see if y’all think it’s worth repairing I prefer a van but this is easier to park and the new trucks bed height are useless for loading I am 6 5 and this is a vehicle I can fit in i have a small cover band the equipment is under 800 lbs I live in west Texas and I started selling the ac tools off and buying some guitars just need the wheels to move the gear around might get a job a McDonald’s to buy the parts I’ll get under the truck in the morning soon as the sun is up I love working on trucks getting them back to stock(not modding or hotrodding)but hate working on them in a hurry to get them back running before my next call in the morning my dad thinks I can get another hundred out of it ac guys that use these half ton trucks like 3/4 ton trucks usaully say 200 thousand is what you get when you overload these grocerygetting trucks I’m on a budget so we’ll see
