Howdy from the high country! My Tacoma was stolen (while delivering food bank boxes to poor old people no less) at the height of the pandemic induced, absurdly high priced used car debacle. I had to spend way more than I wanted to get into a Tundra.

Pretty new to mechanical work but I’m poor now after having broken the bank on the Tundra so I have had to learn to fix things myself.

Please be patient if I ask elementary questions.

Welcome. And now that you have a tundra you shouldn’t have to fix too much.

Thanks. It lived in PA for first half of its life and then lived in a garage in CO the rest. But it’s got a lot of barnacles of rust in exhaust under middle of truck and steering knuckle, all of the clips on hoses and wires. Hoping the rack isn’t compromised. I posted some questions on RustyShackles wonderful Power Steering Flush how to https://www.tundras.com/threads/power-steering-flush-how-to.85254/#post-2150401

hoping to get a reply. Not sure if I can directly ask him or if I have to just wait for reply. It was bought as secondary camping vehicle so I’m not in a big rush but the season is on now so…
