The Raptor was just too big and after owning it for 4 months, just wasn’t all that. Loved the VooDoo blue and got a good deal on the TRD PRO. Love the V8 sound.

The Raptor was huge. Just too big for me. Parking and small Country roads were just a pain. All that tech is great when it works. Go over to the Raptor forums and hear everyone talk about their problems. I decided I wanted dependability and reliability above all else. Plus to me the TRD PRO just looks bad a#%. The V8 sounds great and it is what I should I have bought before I bought the Raptor. I had a Grabber Blue Mustang before and loved the color. That’s why I love the VooDoo Blue so much.

Having owned both, the tundra IS NOT that much smaller. It is harder to park as it doesn’t have the 360 camera like the raptor with tech.

I do love both but the tundra is super out dated. Curious to the 2021 update. Hopefully Toyota pulls their head out their ass and not just some aesthetic updates like they have been.

I agree I want dependability 100%. What issues did you run into? My PDI has a faulty fuel pump.

I guess my big difference was that the Raptor was 6 inches wider than an regular F-150. I couldn’t get use to the 360 camera and was a pain to wash. Don’t get me wrong,it’s a nice truck but just wasn’t my cup of Earl Grey. The TRD PRO just fit the bill for me. Of course it could use some updates but what drew me to it was the fact that it’s proven.

Yea they wanted sticker and wouldn’t budge. But I got them to include heated seats for free and they gave me more for my Raptor than I owed so I was happy. And the fact all my service is done for 4 years or 45000 miles was nice considering that ain’t happening with Ford for free. I drive like 10000 miles a year anyway. Have a company truck during the week.
