I have been an observer on this site for a while. There is some great information and helpful people.

I have just traded in my 2007 SR5 DC with 247,000 miles this weekend for 2017 TRD PRO Cement 16,000. The 2007 required only the replacement of starter at 200K and a pair of leafs. I was sad to let it go. It ran like a tank with almost quarter million miles.

Now I need some help with mods...

I think I may go with the CB Pro upgrade and the site suggest 295s with 30+ offset to avoid a BMC. What is available in that offset at 17" or 18". I looked at Methods, Black Rhinos, ect and need some suggestions. I drive I ton highway miles and was looking for a solid yet quiet 295 that will not get to close the UCA, as I have seen with some models.

Suggested headlight upgrade that won't break the bank.
    Blacked out tail lights.
I'm getting the NSV hood light bar because it is badXXX and I love Knight Rider.

I have not looked into to much but my door speakers don't seem to work. Is this a common problem?

That's a lot for now. Thanks in advance.

I can't answer the wheel question, I used spacers on stock 18" steel rims to correct the backspace. For the tires I recommend Michelan Defenders. Mine are 295-70-18. Quiet on the highway, long lasting and great sand tires.

Welcome to the fun! If you need a good in between at tire I run a Nitto terra grappler in a 295/70/18 and I was surprised how quiet for an at tire. I did get the lt version so they ride a little stiff.

Welcome and congrats on the purchase! Can’t wait to see some pics! One of the greatest looking colors out there along with the best year imo...because you don’t have to worry about the TSS crap! I have heard nothing but positive feedback on the CB Pro kit. CB makes some quality stuff! SCS makes some great looking wheels that would fit your offset needs but personally I love the PRO wheels and would just go with a “quality” wheel spacer. @Coachbuilder1 will be more than happy to help with some of your questions however.

JMB and Magdaddy. I appreciate the input on tires. Like a pair of boots, everybody likes something different. Problem is, you can’t try the tires on.

I saw 18 method NV that looked like they were +25. I test drive a beast with them on 37s in cement this weekend prior to buying mine. They looked sick. Pictures to come.

At about 1200 a set it's an expensive try on.
I got the previous version of the Defenders around 1990 and haven't used anything else since. Most of my driving is on road or sand. YMMV

    Hey there from Virginia!:mudding:
I'm kinda partial to BFG KO2s or Nitto Grapplers. Both are great AT tires that are really quiet on the road and look sick to boot!
