Picture really do not do the wheels or interior justice. I thought I wanted to change the interior until I saw it in person. All the red is leather not vinyl. I do want to paint the steering column cover red to match the lower dash and want a new steering wheel just like the one it has but polished instead of black. This thing is a BEAST.

These squarebodies go quick these days. This truck has been my Eleanor. Been trying to buy this truck my entire life. Had 3 previous opportunities before an 81 long bed , an 85 short bed and an 87 shortbed. Finally this one worked out '84

You have great taste. I've always liked this model of truck, when I was a kid my uncle had the GMC step side. It was a bit of a beater but he did a full custom resto with everything that was cool in the early 90s. Rolled rear pan with corvette lights, shaved handles, shaved trim, digital gauges, boyd Coddington style wheels and billet everywhere, wood bed floor, etc. These trucks are relatively modern classics to me, can't go wrong.

Yea def modern classics but still have that vintage feel. Prob feel vintage because they ran all the way from 73 til 87 so it didnt feel like an 80s truck because it was designed in the early 70s lol to me the metal dash is the best nostalgic part of them.

Pretty truck. I've always loved the old Chevy square bodies, although I prefer lifted with big tires!

I have an 87 I got from my Uncle 10 years ago. I have 74k original miles. Mine has been redone. I have a 383 with Eagle forged bottom end. I have simple bolt on Edelbrock top end with mild cam. I converted from TBI to carb about 6 years ago. Earlier this year I installed a Holley Sniper EFI on it. For transmission, I have a built TH400 that TCI built for the truck. Last thing I need to do is upgrade axles to 14-bolt rear and Dana 60 front and disc brake conversion.

6" Skyjacker Soft-Ride suspension, AGR Steering box, Borgenson steering shaft to remove steering okay. I have an aluminum Be Cool radiator and electric fan setup and it is nice. I love the older Chevy's! Few pictures with bumpers removed as I was putting on new mounts.

Chrome diff cover is long gone, haha!

Nice C10. I was going to ask if it was an 83 or 84, you said 84. I like those wheels, but do I like the rally style ones you ordered for it more. They will look great on that truck.

    Here's my '87 3+3.

Almost 4 years now sitting under a tree with a blown trans (thanks spectra radiators:rolleyes:) waiting for a 4wd swap and a 400 small block. I've been spending money and time on more responsible things like buying and fixing a house lol. I hope to finally start working on it again next year.

Yea I like the proper rallyes as well. These are super nice wheels but don't fit the era. They will look perfect on mysons 72 though. Man that crew is nice. Be awesome slammed as a family hauler!

My baby got new shoes today.....not only new wheels but.some new tires as well. Continental extreme contacts , went with the same size in front but went from 275s to 295s in the rear. Made a world of difference in traction in width and tire.20210130_173708.jpg 20210130_173717.jpg
