New Member - New Pavement Princess!

Hello from sunny Huntington Beach, CA! I sold my 2006 4Runner and decided I need a monthly payment instead!

I bought a 2025 Tundra Platinum Nightshade edition. Black on black on black.

So many helpful recommendations and threads on this forum! Had to get a few things right away:

- Center Console Divider:

This is much better than the giant empty space the truck came with. I like the fact that the top tray slides so I can get to the bottom tray, but this is a lot of small compartments.

The stock cupholders actually suck. If you have a tall yeti in the drivers side cupholder with no cup in the passenger side IT WILL TIP OVER. Cup Grip fixes this.

The center console trays are hard plastic - anything in the trays slides around. Rubber tray liners are a MUST.

Window Tint: Formula One Stratos ceramic tint. 5% on rear and back seat windows. 15% on front side windows and moonroof. Highly recommend the tint on the moonroof - noticeable difference in how hot the interior gets!

Suspension: Billstein 6112 front, 6100's rear. JBA UCA's.

Wheels: Method Racing Wheels 707 Bead Grip Matte Black. 18", +18 offset

Tires: Falken Wildpeak A/T4W 295/70R18

 

Welcome! Beautiful truck. I’d highly recommend getting ppf and ceramic coating on your truck to protect that black paint in our sunny socal!

Just realized I provided incorrect info on the tint. I used 5% on the back windows, 15% on the front sides, 35% on the moonroof, nothing on the windshield. Friend of mine had 0% on his windshield and said there was glare from screens/devices at night.

 

Also - purchased this hard bottom back seat cover so I can take my dog places wrecking the interior and getting hair everywhere. This thing is pricey but amazing! Highly recommend: https://apetsplanet.com/products/leather-backseat-extender-for-dogs-black-with-door-covers

 

I went with a silicone license plate frame. Inexpensive, minimal - really like it:

I’ve used blue/80 and 30% on windshields, and I prefer the 30%. Either way I haven’t experienced glare, and film on the windshield makes a big difference.
