Hi Guys~ I came over from TW. Going to be buying a new truck this year and still deciding between Tacoma and Tundra. Hopefully I can get some insight on which truck will best work for me.

    Cheers!!

Ok tell us more about what you want the truck for?
    Anything to tow?
Anything to haul in the bed?
    How many passengers?
Any kids? How old? Plans for kids?
Any dogs? How many? How big? Ok in bed or in cab?
Daily driver? How many miles per day?
Do you like to have lots of power?
    4WD or 2WD?
    Offroad at all?

Looks like I had Quote failure...

I tow a trailer and 13' fishing raft. I also just got a pop-up camper.
    Eye candy of the raft.

Anything to haul in the bed?

Not on a constant basis, just the regular hauler of stuff.

    How many passengers?

    2 most of the time.

Any kids? How old? Plans for kids?

No little kids, all adults in my family. (Except me, I'm pretty much stuck at 16yrs old.)

Any dogs? How many? How big? Ok in bed or in cab?

One little ankle bitter. (or biter) I wouldn't really consider her a dog but likes to bark.

Daily driver? How many miles per day?

Could be a daily driver. Wife and I commute together so we can rotate vehicles. ~ 25 miles a day.

Do you like to have lots of power?

I've had my '98 Tacoma for 19 years now so that's my truck engine. Our other car is a 4 banger commuter type car so I have no idea what power really means. :)

    4WD or 2WD?

4WD is the way to go!

A little of this and a little of that.
Welcome from Las Vegas!! Wish we had more of an active representation of Tundra owners from Las Vegas on here like you CO people do. Glad you're here. Good luck getting a lot of Tacoma votes on this forum, lol.

When I choose to buy a Tundra (Last November) I too had/have basically two passengers. My wife or daughter and I. I do haul my 14 year old and her cheer buddies around to competitions and practice but otherwise it's just the wife and I. I wanted a "Big Boy" truck this time. Don't get me wrong, I like the Taco's (my brother has a real nice one) I just wanted something that would be Loud, Lifted, and take up a lot of space wherever I go. I know, obnoxious right? I love the power and the ability to be able to haul and tow whatever I want (an 18' Tracker, or a 23' travel trailer). With a Tacoma I couldn't do that, or at least would be very difficult and look kinda funny too. My dad's TT is an old one that's built right. It's friggin heavy.

I'll Google "stripperclip" and see what the hype is all about.
