Mornin from Alabama! Just picked up my first Tundra and first Toyota product about a month ago. 2021 SR5 CrewMax in MGM. Just passed the 500 mile mark this week. Thanks to everyone on here for all the helpful pictures and advice; I've been using the search box heavily to help make decisions! Hopefully I can return the favor and be a resource to anyone with questions on the mods I do.

Current mods:
Bak Revolver X4s
Amp Research Bed Xtender Max (no drill bracket, quick release bracket, and spacers to fit with the cover)
OEM Bed Lights (had them installed at the dealership
AVS In-channel vent visors (A lot tighter fit on the front windows than previous cars)
Black out badge covers and bed inlays
Console half safe with LEDs (eBay version)

Future mods/wish list:
DS2 Side Steps (just picked them up yet to install)
AMP Research BedStep (yet to install)
LEDs throughout, possibly new tail lights
Some AJT Products
Diode Dynamics Stealth LED Light Bar
The gutter guard black mesh mod to the Bed Xtender to fill in the gaps
Maybe new side mirrors, might just add some lights myself, but would love powerfold.
TRD Wheels, want some different tires but might ride these out for a while
Exploring dual exhaust Flowmaster, etc. want to know more about the noise/MPG effects
K&N Filters, Air Intake, Cold Air intake (still researching)
Wanted the powerlock tailgate, but dealer told me part was being recalled so TBD
Remote Start kit
Wireless phone charger for the console (still debating since Carplay requires plug in)
Wanted to add underseat storage in the back, but have a carseat so could limit use. I've been able to fit jumper cables, ratchets, bungees, etc. and still close the seat.

Congratulations and welcome to the truck club.

I parted out my OEM wireless charger from my 2015 and did not install it on my 21 because of Carplay, but it has been bugging lately and the Texas heat destroyed my phone holder twice this summer. I am thinking that I will be adding the console charger back soon and forgo Carplay.

DS2 Steps from Rough Country installed Monday and Amp Research Bedstep installed tonight! Was very glad I read about cutting the OEM support bracket instead of installing the Amp one made it so much easier. Detailed pics in this thread.

I definitely wanted side steps, but now I feel like it needs the 1.75 inch leveling kit. I want to fit in my garage so I can’t go anymore than that. I love how flush they are with the frame and the truck. Basically can’t see them if you’re looking down the side. Solid construction. Maybe I should have gone for something with door ding protection but I’m definitely happy with these.

Garage figment… went ahead and removed the handle to be safe haha. Wife said it had more clearance when I was in it.

Got the VLED footwell light kit for Christmas. Also got the 3W Liners auto up down window kit and I am a HUGE fan. So nice having all of them auto up down. I know there’s another kit that would have done the back window, but it’s shorter so much quicker up and down no biggie.

 

Got the Morimoto license plate LEDs from Headlight Revolutions website. Super easy install and big fan of the looks of these versus just swapping the bulb. Super bright.

Nice job! I would like to hear your opinion after using those license plate LED lights. When I went all LED crazy on my '21, I later felt that the license plate LED lights were causing some blur on the my rear view camera image. I am considering going an aftermarket route for license plate illumination or reinstall my factory bulbs.

I do like those floor lights, I may considering adding those to complete my interior LED conversion. Thanks for sharing!

 

unfortunately I have to agree with you. It’s not so bad normally, but when it’s raining/the camera is wet it’s pretty bad I can’t see the bottom half. I’ve thought about buying some tint film to put over them honestly because I really like the look. I kinda want my taillights tinted/smoked once I get the conversion kit so maybe together.
The floor lights are awesome! The vanity mirror lights are so bright haha my wife was kind of annoyed.

 

I replaced my factory tail lights with smoked tail lights to go along with my Nightshade look. I have LEDs in my tail lights, but that license plate bulb...wow. Plus, the license plate lighting is more for being able to read it at night. Not something I care about for safety.

for reference to the blurry back up cam we discussed see below this was the other night not raining just a little dirty so I wiped it off and took another picture and much better but you get the idea of what it can look like if dirty or wet.

 

Yup just like mine.... pretty bright. I put them back to stock. I will see if I can get a snapshot.

I don't have a thread for my truck build on here. I do have an IG page for the truck though.
