New Member Coming From Taco and TW

    I traded in my 2018 Tacoma TRD OR and took delivery of my new cement 2021 Tundra SR5-TRD OR.

    Now I’m trading in Tacoma World for Tundras.com. I am loving the Tundra so far and I am already on the prowl for mods. Fortunately or unfortunately, I knew just where to come to find other people to spend my money.

    So here we go again you glorious bastards, here is my initial mod needs list:
    -Husky X-Act Fit Floor Liners on the way
    -Add Seat Covers
    -Add Bed Rail Tracks
    -Add Tonneau Cover
    -Add Tailgate Remote Lock (need plug & play harnesses info)
    -Add Remote Starter (need plug & play harnesses info)
    -Upgrade Audio System (need the hack for this and plug & play harnesses info)
    -Change chrome grille surround and bulge to Cement and add Pro Grille (this appears to be far more difficult and more expensive than it was for the Tacoma. Need the forum consensus best way)
    -Get rid of the chrome front bumper ends (need the forum consensus best way)

    That’s enough for now, I can feel the money flying out of my pocket already.

    You'll probably need to throw out some more specifics on your needs if you want input. What type of tonneau you looking for: hard, soft, fold, retractable, accordian...

    Yes of course, I’m not too sure about what I’m going to do this time around. I had a bed cap on my Tacoma, liked it, but was not necessary. I had a fancy aluminum folding cover on my 2013 Sierra and it didn’t take long for it to stop shutting right. I’m thinking of keeping it simple with a soft tri-fold or a plain ole roll up soft cover.

    Well, as you can imagine, there's an answer to just about everything somewhere on this forum. I roll 2nd gen, so I'm not much help to you, but there's plenty of threads/people here that'll give some input. You can always start a thread called "Help me burn money!" :thumbsup:

    Your Tundie didn't come with bed rail tracks? Thought that was standard. For audio you should hit up James at Tech12Volts. Approved vendor and I hear he is hella helpful with advice and full out audio packages including any needed harnesses etc...

    He might be able to help with your remote needs as well.
