Hi Ya'll, ray4a here. A long time ago ,1969, I owned a 1968 Toyota Corona two door H/T in Canary yellow. 1600cc inline 4 with a 4 speed trans. The only thing I disliked about that little car was the constant ticking coming from the broken plastic clip on the shift lever at the trans connection point. Boy that little car could take a curve. Since then I have driven most domestic brands only to return to buying a new 2007 Tundra SR5 with the 381HP motor. I wish my little Corona would have had that motor, Ha! After 162.000 PROBLEM FREE miles I sold her off to get a 2020 TSS off-road Tundra with 8 miles. I miss some of the things in my old truck and I do believe my old truck was faster than this one. I am in the process of ordering various things to equip my new BRIGHT WHITE painted baby with the blacked out badges and 20' off-road wheels and knobbies. I hope to gain knowledge about what is best for my ride these days but was floored to find out they want to change oil every 10,000 miles, I have never put on more than 3500 miles with synthetic oils in my old Tundra. Anyone here recommends 10,000 mile oil changes?
Sorry for the long intro, stay safe in these turbulent times.

    Welcome from Maryland :hattip:

yea the 10,000 mile intervals is WAY to long for my liking also

I did the first change on my 18’ @ 2,000
and put in Mobil 1 - extended performance
and will continue @ 5,000 intervals

Also recommend replacing the factory plastic filter housing with the Toyota aluminum one and getting the Motive wrench/ drain tool and hose- along with a Fumoto valve / drain hose for oil pan

edit: Think I bought the hose at Home Depot

PLENTY of GREAT people on this site with any info/suggestions and help you need spending your MONEY on anything TUNDRA related !!
