Evening gents! I primarily spend my time on Instagram (give me a follow... @Manventurer ....). I wanted to share new markers the @toyotaled(Instagram handle) just launched. They are very clean and looks great. They are for the 18-19 pro grille. I’ll be doing a giveaway for a set in the coming weeks on my Insta page, so if you like them keep an eye out.

Just wondering, why is everyone trying to imitate the Raptors with these grille lights? My cousin also did this to his 4rnr and so did all his buddies. Not trying to offend, just wondering. It does look good tho, I just don't want a raptor owner saying to me, you should've got a raptor or some smart remark, lol

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...

Im sure when a Raptor owner sees a Tundra with those lights, he's like... ohh a Pretender, wishing he has a Raptor.

The PRO grill spells out TOYOTA, the Sport grill just has the logo.

I like it. It’s not an attempt to imitate the raptor for me. If I wanted to be like a raptor I would just get a raptor. I think it just adds a little clean flair to the front.

Nothing yet. Plan to 3/2 lift, partial chrome delete, rims and tires.
Would these fit on a 18/19 honeycomb grill.

    This.

I like the look for sure and have even purchased LEDs to do this but I've been fighting internally to do the install because of the aforementioned. It reminds of someone putting "Type R" labels on a basic model Honda.

Out of curiousity is there a reasoning for or meant useage of these lights? Baja running so you're seen maybe?

The design and craftmanship on these are very nice, just the $99 ticket is kind of steep IMO.

I would say the markers have the same functionality as the Toyota Tundra hood scoop.

True, however there are plenty of things on our trucks that serve no other purpose than looking cool.

The raptor got these because of its size. Once you go over a specific physical size, I think it’s 80” wide, big brother requires you to have 3 amber lights in the front and red ones in the back. The standard F150 is like .1” just under that size, which is why they don’t have them and the raptors do. They do this because someone somewhere thinks this makes sense. Just another reason for the government to fine auto manufacturers and make money. Same concept applies to the lights above the cab on heavier trucks. I can kind of see how those make sense though.

In regards to why people have them, it blew up on IG. So when the wagon gets going, some people jump on. I think they look neat, I just won’t own a set.

THANK YOU for the info! Def didn't know that or even consider that being the reasoning. Nice.

Just checked and we're in the 79.9" threshold with the Tundra. LOL
