Hey y'all, just got my new BFGs mounted today on my '14 SR5 4x4. Hopefully will be adding my 6112 at top setting and 5160s with shackles this weekend, and JBA UCAs. I'm looking for pics of of 1" and 1.5" shackle heights for comparison. Does anyone on here have pics of the same lift and settings along with the tire size? She's a dirty girl right now from hunting season and has some lovely AZ desert racing stripes as you can see. I've dug through the general 6112 and tire post and haven't quite seen the same settings with the tire size.

@OR18TRD got hit 2 years ago on the interstate while going 85, rolled 5 times. My 2010 Crewmax held up like a champ interior wise

Y'all have any regrets on the tire size? I like the look, curious to see how they are off-road compared to my old tundras 285/70/18s

That accident looks horrible. I saw something similar on the freeway and several of the occupants were not wearing seat belts, wasn't pretty. My wife is a nurse and she had to help the victims. Pretty sad. Thankfully you were ok.

I like this size tire. It's pretty expensive for the 1/2" jump to 285/70's

wow, 275/70's on the 6112 1.9" setting really fills up the wheel well... or is that the angle in the picture? I'm about to get the same installed, but without the rear shackle (just 1.9 on the front).

I have CB+2 shackles which are supposed to give 1.25" of lift in the back. My front is 6112 set at 1.9" with 1 shim on the drivers side. Tires are 275 70/18 Nitto RGs.

thanks, that helps. I been going back and forth on 1.9 + 1 (.25") shim or just straight 1.9, cause my measurements (hub to fender) are 2.25" difference front to back. right in between 1.9" and 2.5". haha

Sweet. Welcome to the forum. I see a PSE sticker in one of your pictures... send me a PM if you ever make it to the archery range in Oro Valley as that is right next my house. My son and I are always looking for a reason to fling some arrows.

Got my suspension installed. Couldn't get the shackles in the rear due to not being able to get the damn, leaf springs bolts out... Need advice on how to. However, the front is at top setting for the 6112s. The front is 3/4" higher than the rear until the shackles get placed at a 1" setting. It almost looks level to the naked eye. Alignment scheduled for tomorrow morning. The truck drives so much better now, rides like a truck should feel now. Let me know what y'all think about the truck and any tips for the shackles.

Looks good! Did you have jacks supporting the weight of the rear axle while you were trying to get the bolts out?

How are the RG's holding up? Looking at the exact size tire right now and am debating between the Cooper AT3 XLT, KO2, Wildpeaks, and Ridge Graplers.

Timely question - I just replaced them 4 weeks ago. They still had some tread left but they were 1. getting loud on the highway and 2. a couple were chunked bad from going through extreme rock gardens off-road. I had 35k miles on them when I replaced them. I went up one size to 285/70 18 Nitto RGs this go around as the tires performed extremely well off-road and held up to all the abuse I threw at them.
