Icon just released a new wheel that fits a Tundra. 17” in +25. Very compelling. Been looking for something with non faux beadlocks in this offset in 17’s. What do you guys think?

Good specs, but too busy for my liking.

I can see that. Reminds me a bit of the Black Rhino military sim style. Might be a PITA to clean.

I need to see a pic of it on a truck before pulling the trigger.

I like those!! I can’t seem to find them on their website, though. Do you have a link?

I ordered a black set from Icon. They said they’re in stock and should ship in next few days. Couldn’t pass up Black Friday savings of 25% off.

I also asked if they have any pics of them on a truck in the wild. Unfortunately they don’t.

Nice! They didn’t have those when I ordered the Rebounds. Post pics when you get them installed.

Nice looking wheel! They do look similar to the Rhino which I liked but were a little out of my price range so I went with the ICON Vectors.

What tires are you planning to run?

I currently have 285/75r17s. Going to go up to 35x12.5x17’s on the Toyo AT3.

But it is a faux beadlock, it even has bolts around a vague but simulated lip.

Icon does make the Vector 5 though, which is not a faux beadlock. No bolts, no lip.

Way to be bold and original!

I’ve seen the black rhinos on some Dodge Rams in black and they look very industrial/military cool. Can’t wait to see these. Plus you went 17’s. Why the change to the wider tire? You had the perfect size already. I have 285/75R18 Toyo MTs. When they go out (which will be awhile) I’ll drop to 17’s also.

    Gold leader 1 out.

They look good in smoked variation, me likey:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=saQH2o3Gljo

I was going to go with the Method MR316 for the weight (around 4-5 pounds lighter in the 17s), and then I saw these, and could not un see them. Will be wrapping them in BFG KO2's, 285x70x17, E - White letters of course to match the black/grey/white contrast of my truck.

    Edit:
I will have a set of 20 Monster II's with 35x12.5x20 going up for sale real soon. Doing a lot of towing, so looking to reduce unsprung weight / rotational mass and smaller tires.

I’m debating the 35’s, mainly because I can put the 285 spare under the truck, but don’t think a 35 would fit. I would go with 35’s mostly for looks.

It does, but it’s much more subtle than the full faux like other wheels. Same color and just a few bolts.

Several people on the forum have modified their spare tire area to fit a 35. And a 285/75 is a 34.8 or whatever the brand says (they vary a bit from Cooper to toyo, I’ve had both).

I slipped and pulled the trigger on Method MR316 17x8.5, and the BFG KO2's 285x70x17 E. All in with TPMS, mounting, balancing and shipping for $1967 - which I couldn't say no to - lighter and save some $ and no fake beadlock BUT I do still like these Thrusts. Maybe I should put them on the wife's Pacifica S :curls:
