Hey guys I’ve been a long time tundras.com forum surfer but finally made an account.

I’m a pretty well versed mechanic in most aspects but wiring really eludes me.

I’ve had my truck for 5 years. bought it used with 299k on it, now shes got 408 and counting. she has served me well as a powerline crawling, skid steer pullin, mud hole rippin, train track jumpin, daily driven beater. But she is now becoming a body swap project since I found THE ONLY spot of rust which is in the roof and A pillar.

so I need some wiring help and general first gen tundra questions answered…first time in 5 years ive needed to become a member to get some help!

    Welcome from WA state.
I want to know the story behind the bullet holes.

for wiring, hit the EWD thread in my signature. You’ll be able to download the full wiring diagram manual for your year in that thread.

Welcome from SoCal. Bullet holes are definitely an interesting mod, be sure to clear coat to keep from rusting!

Might need to explain that decal in the window though.

I’m up in Kingston about an hour south of Albany if you take the thruway,

those are in fact real bullet holes from the trusty and oh so scary ar-fifteen

I was using my truck to shoot off of, took a bunch of steps back and realized the scope was over the bed…not the barrel. Oops!

i tried to sell the bed locally before I started my project with no luck. So to scrap it went, broke my heart to see a rust free bed get crushed!

I see @shawn.roe24 is a fellow yankee, where ya from?

Just to show you guys what the truck looked like 5 years ago the day I got it home.

To say I’m rough on things is an understatement
