Currently have 2012 Tundra Rock Warrior (discontinued pkg) with close to 200,000 miles here in Midwest.

Runs great but ready for a newer Tundra TRD Pro package.

The price jumps are killing me, asking $10,000 over original MSRP on 2020 models.

Any advice on negotiating a good price for something with 30,000 miles on it? Got this one with about 70,000 on it and its been a good vehicle but looking for something a bit newer to cruise around in and pull a boat.

Any advice on negotiating a newer version? The one I have looks and runs good and has aftermarket leather/heated seats in it so debating whether to sell outright or trade in with the current mileage. Appreciate any thoughts.

    Welcome from Brentwood!

What are you looking for in the new truck aside from lower miles?

This is literally the worst time I have ever seen to try to find and buy a different truck really so my advice is if it is not broken, dont fix it.

At least the one you have now is the Devil that you know.

And this is a Sellers Market right now for sure.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! The ONLY way I would be in the market for a different truck right now is if mine died and was unrepairable.

    Greetings fellow Toyota owners!

Yes, I realize its the worst time to look, so trying to figure out the best time to buy and if they are dealing at all. I have looked at anything in a CrewMax comparable. I like the TRD Pro in a Limited model, but if I found cloth I would replace it with after market leather (did that with this one). Style wise would add a hood scoop if it didnt have it and a tow pkg for a bass boat.

I can wait a bit, however we all know interest rates are going to climb. Its a catch 22, as I am interested in the 2020 or older motor, not the new one till it proves itself, and mine keeps racking up miles.

Start paying yourself that truck payment now by putting it in a dedicated account. Then, you will be that much further ahead on payments and it will more than offset the difference in interest rates.
