    Hi guys,

just upgraded my all black 2008 Taco DC to a silver 2016 dc Tundra Limited.

Loved the taco, but after test driving a 2017 Tacoma Limited and then a tundra there wasen't any hesitation.

Been a long time Toyota owner since 1998, loved the crewmax but I don't have any kids, and wanted the bigger bed.

Picking it up Thursday but took it for spin today and took a few pics, in the one pic I have all 3 of the trucks that i've owned, the first one I sold to my buddy in 2008 cause he was bugging me for it (and made me a offer I couldn't refuse) he still drives it and it is still going strong.

My second one had it for 8 year with no problems, just front brakes at 92k, Tacoma world did cost me a lot of money lol, mostly inside for DD 726e eclipse head unit with eclipse speakers, 5 channel infinity amp, eclipse back up camera and a 12" shallow sub, Sound dampened and sound insulated doors and back panel. TRD exaust .First had goodyear MT/R's then went with the duratracs, they are amazing in the winter. My taco with the slightly oversised tires always gave me 14.5mpg (16L/100km)

So far just got the LineX, tri fold cover and toyota ruber bedmat and black toyota running boards.

I have a work van so I don't drive it much but when I do it's a long 4000KM trip back home on the east coast usualy twice a year. So mostly highway, I wanted the dual zone climate control cause my wife has it in 14 CRV and it's the best for long trips. Probably want a slight lift to get little bigger tires.

Welcome! Nice truck. I'm also a recent Tacoma to Tundra convert. It's amazing how many of us migrated here from TW.

Welcome to the forum. I think you'll find a lot of useful info on here, I did! I'm another recent Tacoma to Tundra convert. So far I'm happy I traded but I do wish I could have afforded a new one.

Welcome to the big boys club. I would guess that probably 25 percent of us are former Tacoma owners. A lot of us still frequent the TW forum because it is such an active and hilarious site.

    Thanks guys!

Been going through the thread " what have done to your tundra today" on my phone.

Started on page 70 or down to like 35, that's like 1200 posts or so!

    Lots of amazing trucks here!

Wasent logged it and I just figured out I could have liked all the mods that I liked and been able to get back to them!

Looks like some hard earned money will be parting me soon!
