I was looking to fill the cutouts in my new bumper. I purchased QTY (4) of the Profile Performance RGBAR Cubes and a RGBW Morimoto XBT Bluetooth controller from The Retrofit Source. Hopefully they'll be here in a week or so.

I've heard good things about these and love how versatile they are. A buddy of mine that is an installer recommended them. I'll be running 1 pair to the OEM fog lights so I can run them with my heads (prolly knock out the anytime foglight mod while we're at it), and the other will be to a switch. These Cubes are able to fade, strobe or stay solid on any color I please. Majority of the time, ill run pure white, especially on the highway, but once I start frequenting meets, ill be able to set whichever colors I want. Both sets will be ran from my phone, which is badass. I'm super excited to be getting the truck where I want it. Getting closer!

It`s not so easy to find good and quality fog lights. My mechanic recommended me to try Morimoto lights from CARiD, as he constantly buys new parts from this store with reasonable prices.

yeah I know.. there is a company here in town that I have used for bulbs, both fog and headlight, with a lifetime warranty. ive never had a problem if I needed to replace them. They also sell fog pods and light bars with that same warranty, but they are a little pricy and only in white. I ran headlight bulbs, fog pods and a 40" bar in my 2015 tundra, and they were unbelievably bright. The ones here that I've purchased have a 3yr warranty, and for the price, id be OK with replacing if I have to.

Do you have any update on these cubes? I have been eyeballing them on TRS for awhile and at $30 each it is very tempting. I'm the most interested in the light output as a true fog light, not so much for the color change...although that is cool too. Pics would be GREAT! Thanks

Those are just led pods. They just throw out light. No beam pattern what so ever. Don’t waste your money or time.

I thought I read that the color was background lighting and there were 6 LEDs that produced a beam, guess not. That solves that....I appreciate the info Danny, thanks for saving me the $$ and heartache!!

They are meant to be used as auxiliary lights to compliment your high beam, at best. Street legal lights use optics to direct light in a distinct pattern. An led with no optic in front of it, like these, is just a bright led throwing out light. Picture a flood light with no shroud around it.

They’re back lit LED... they’re plenty bright back lit. The cubes also go full white, bright af...

Idk what you mean to be honest... The pics speak for themselves. $30 is a steal

these are the whites on... super bright. Light dispersion is all over, as they’re just meant to be bright. I’m at my buddies place, so can’t get a great pic, but you get it

I misunderstood what you were saying... you’re correct. These literally just throw light lol they are just bright ass lights with no direction. But still dope for $30

I was checking out your build for pics like these. Thanks for snapping them. First off, awesome truck and build. Secondly, I think I will try a set of the lights. I'm not looking to drive around with the bright fogs on all the time, but am more looking for lights that light up the world when I need them. These seem to fit the bill. I was in quite a jam last time I pulled my camper. I followed the GPS and ended up on a very windy dirt road. My stock fogs were very insufficient, to say the least. So when the RGB is used, the fogs can be used on the road, correct....but when you switch on the white, the world in front of you glows? Thanks for the clarification!

Exactly... I run my rocklights and fogs everyday.. but rarely run the actual fog lights themselves.
But when we go to the land, or if I’m at the beach and just looking to be super bright, they definitely work. I was actually looking at these today thing about buying more for the hell of it lol these will work for what you need them for. But you’ll need the XT Morimoto Bluetooth controller to run the lighting. That’s prolly 100-150 itself

Can I wire it up to my fog switch to turn them on/off and use the bluetooth to change the colors? Or do you turn them on/off with the app too. If you can use a physical switch, does it remember the last used setting?

I have a kill switch... the on and off for the brights..

An app to use the colors. Pretty easy
