Howdy, I'm new and hope not to cause annoyance with stupid questions.
Going to use my Tundra to haul my dive gear/tanks, coolers and fish and maybe tow boat. Adding bed-slide to make loading and unloading easier on back, and now have a roomy backseat for guest.

Question: The parking assist seems weak, maybe I'm doing something wrong. Noticed there are only 2 sensors in front and they don't seem to activate until I'm almost about to hit something. The reverse 3 sensors seems better.

Of course this is compared to my car with multiple sensors all around, maybe I'm spoiled. Any suggestions for improving use of the parking beepers.

Sure to have more questions, but happy to be in group :)

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! Check out the FRAC (on this site) for a front camera that ties in nicely with you head unit. The front sensors are only on the corners and don't really help me much either. But the front camera is just as helpful as the rear camera to me.

Yeah, the parking assist is pretty weak compared to a lot of cars. The FRAC system mentioned above may be of help.

As for the Head Unit (HU) display in the center console; this link may help, but the more you play around with it the more sensible the interface seems (sensible can't escape finger quotes, really...). I think the minimum number of panels you can configure is two; so you could put weather next to the clock, or the horrible, ignorable map. If you didn't already know, you can plug your phone into the farthest left USB slot in the console and use apps on your phone for maps or music.

    Welcome from TX.

Now I've got down to two panels, map and clock, just that at night, I prefer less cabin light from the map. One of my cars, when you turn display off, it shows clock on black background.
