    Hi All!

I have already found a ton of good info on this site so just popping in to get help on some specifics. Hard to believe I just bought a 23 year old Tundra but it is in good shape, Access Cab, V8 SR5, 208k miles. Frame recall has been done and it is matte black, rides very smooth no shake in body wheels or drivetrain at all. Cap has kept the bed in decent shape but it has been painted over the rear fenders. Cab still has the speckled brown 2-tone 99% good.

My main issue is I have been battling long covid for a year and I cannot be around any offensive smells including smoke and dust, so when I turn on the blower for some defrost I almost can't breathe. Will do our best to deep clean but may end up needing to replace blower motor and vent ducts to remove all offending dust. Maybe a humidifier and pipe cleaners can get it done.

Just popping in to say hello, I am in northern new england so this is a nice find with very little rust I am off to the 1st gen forums to get more detailed help on the little things.

Welcome! I believe this is common in first gen trucks without the cabin air filter.

Welcome! Fingers crossed for cleaning the ducts, I’m curious to hear how it turns out.
