I didn't see a thread on this, so I apologize if its a repeat.

Saw this on instagram: Camburg posted that they are working on developing mass production processes for this bumper. I am not sure about you guys, but if and when this comes out, I am all over it! It's hands down the best looking bumper out there that also supports a winch.

I like it. Everyone has their own taste, but in case you haven't seen this one, I really like the look of the Relentless Fab Stealth bumper. One thing I noticed right away is the gap on the Camburg between the top of the bumper and the truck compared to the Relentless. Plus, he is one of our own.
This one is a prototype without powdercoat.

Does the canburg bumper say it will work with stock fenders? Looks like the one pictured has fiberglass fenders on it.

If you do crawl or off road, you are not going to want the gap between bumper and lower grille and lower lamp covers to be that close. the plate bumper doesnt flex much but the cab will along with the frame. if the gap is too small you will end up breaking off the grille or lower lamp covers from flex.

I see your point, but I don't know exactly how much clearance is needed. My truck is a street queen and heavy modding isn't needed (or in my budget) at the moment.

    Bad ass bumper!!!

Are the two cutouts above the winch for lights? That would be awesome.

Gotcha. the truck like camburgs which sees a ton off off road makes sense to have a gap. i used to have an all pro full plate and crawling it would tap each fender from left to right and vice versa flexing.

Overrated. I have had a separate bed for 14 years. Had I not, we would not have seen 3 years together.

Yeah, no offense man but I don't like to spend money on off-road products I am not gonna actually use off road. If I am going to spend a ton of money on it, you bet I am gonna go beat the shit out of it Offroad. I don't understand the whole 26" wheels on 35" tires and like 10" of lift. I am sure some people will get offended by this, but oh well. It just ruins a truck and is a giant waste of money.

You beat me to it, but ditto. Also, that was a prototype. Knowing how camburg does their stuff, I am sure the mass production bumpers will have better fit.

    And lol!

None taken. I have made zero off road mods to my truck and have taken my truck off roading zero times. If I could afford to seriously outfit my Tundra for off roading and actually off road it, I would.

Mine is set at 1/2 inch gap in the pics above, plus has more room to go either way on slotted mounting holes if desired. I typically recommend this amount of gap, minimal potential for fenders to contact and if they do it's slight enough there is no damage. We design our products for the offroad market, not just the pavement pounder trucks. The gap on the Camburg is about 2", saw the truck at SEMA. Bumper is very slim, but they need to fine tune fit a little IMO

I agree with everything stated. I think 1/2" would be optimal for looks. My bumper (P&P Engineering) has a large gap similar to the Camburg (1.25"), but I requested it that way. My truck has the Tundra pimp limp (it's literally 1" lower on the drivers side than on the passengers side) which is only exacerbated with all my gear (bumpers, sliders, skids, cap, rack, rtt) that equates to roughly 1200lbs. Mind you, this is on stock TRD Pro suspension.

Hey guys, thanks for all the interest in the bumper, we didn't really know what to expect since it is a first for us.

We will be taking some pre-orders here for the ones who are into the way the bumper is right now. There will be revisions to the newer versions. Lighting options, mounting options and maybe a few different winch options. I would suggest waiting for the fully revised model to come out.

I'm thinking the bumpers are going to go for around $1800.00-$1900.00 retail.

As far as the "gap" goes, it comes from the soft body mounts on the truck, the flexing is what gives it the crazy gap. Luckily we made sure the body flexing isnt going to be an issue with contact on the bumper.

WOW! Amazing bumper! This is by far my favorite winch bumper for the Tundra. Would it be possible to mount the bumper such that the gap is slightly reduced for those of us with Urethane mounts?

Hey @tonydobbs , i'm interested in the urethane mounts. I'm tired of the constant body lean and roll... where did you get yours or what brand did you go with?

And the tundra crawling flexes a TON. Look at @TRON pictures in his build thread and check out the gap on his stock bumper when flexed.

Yeah, that bumper was never the final product. The new bumper will allow adjustment for those that are worried about a gap.

I just got a fully revised bumper that we are welding up and going to test fit this week.
the revised bumper will have several tab options for rock lighting, 30" light bar on top, perforated screen if you dont want lights. We also thickened up a few spots where the winch mounts. its going to be awesome!

We should finally have these available for purchase in about 3-4 weeks.

We appreciate the kind words, I'm pumped to see some of you guys rocking these bumpers in the near future!!!
