My name is Gary and I used to be a member here back in 2008 (I think), but it's been years and I couldn't remember my user name and password (advanced age). I think I was blacktundra or something similar, but now I'll be pgitundra. I had my black 2008 Tundra XSP until 2018 and it was flawless for ten years. Traded it for a 2018 Silverado High Country which has been less than flawless so I have a 2023 Tundra Limited Crew Max Hybrid currently on order. I am hoping to see it in a couple of months and have my fingers crossed that it will be every bit as good, or better, than my last Tundra.
I have been reading here for the last two weeks and have learned a lot already, so thank you all for the knowledge and interesting reading.

Thank you.....keeping the new account will be fine. It will be fitting, what with the soon to be new truck.

So here's my update: I haven't been able to receive any information as to whether or not the build on the Limited Crew Max Hybrid I ordered has begun, plus I was beginning to question my Supersonic Red color choice.
The dealership already had a 2023 1794 in Magnetic Gray Metallic inbound, about 30 days out now, so I moved my deposit over to this vehicle. I think I will be much happier in the long-term with the MGM color, and am soooo looking forward to delivery. I picked up some chrome trim, some interior upgrades, a power panoramic roof, and of course a slightly higher price tag.

Those of you with red trucks don't hate on me too quickly, it's just that as I am now an old man the red may have been too bold and I'm trying to stay more conservative. Definitely an "age thing."

Awesome on the 1794 and welcome back ! ...How many miles on the 08 when you (presume?) traded it ?

Just shy of 81k on the 16 and going strong.

Whatever makes you happy sir, take and drive your heart out for it.
My and my wife are both white color cars people, everyone says it will get dirty and all that, it is just dirt on paint, it will buff out.... or not, lol.

And welcome from hell's spot in Houston, TX.

My wife and I both have white vehicles at the moment also. Loved my white Silverado High Country, but don't think it's built for longevity as much as the Toyota products.
As for my 08 Tundra, when traded for the Silverado it had 125k flawless miles.
