My wife just bought a 2022 Camry XLE. It was built and delivered with in a few weeks. My question is, when I detailed for money you were supposed to wait at least three months or longer for the paint to cure before you polished/waxed or sealed the paint. Is that still true? Back then cars sat on the lot for a month to a few months most of the time so it wasn't as much of an issue. Thanks for the help.

Mainly depends on what you plan to wax/seal it with. Natural waxes let the paint breath off the solvents allowing it to cure. Other coatings will lock the solvents in. I would give it at least six weeks from the build date.

You are fine to detail on arrival. 3 months generally applied when have body work done. You have to remember paint at factory is baked/cured.
