Soon to be new to the Tundra world. Just looking for info on the Toyota dealers in San Diego. I'm just now doing my research. Just have to wait for my lemon Ford buyback.

Honestly, I’d drive up north to Longo Toyota. Better pricing and good selection.

Not sure where you are in San Diego but I’ve dealt with both Carlsbad Toyota and Escondido Toyota. Nothing wrong with them per se but you definitely won’t get the best price. I guess it depends on what you’re looking for. If you’re searching for a new pro, look elsewhere. Both will have 5-10k markup

@papasmurf is in SD and can chime in. Think he has a good relationship with a stealer there. I bought mine in SD but don't remember the dealer.

I'm down south in Eastlake. I've been looking on both of their sites check there selections. I am looking to get a new one. I just need to come up with everything I want, so I have an idea when I go in for the purchase. It might be a month or so,because I'm in the middle of a Ford buyback since it turned out to be a lemon.

Make the drive to Longo Toyota, they have a good selection and you can wheel and deal. I have bought 3 Toyota's and 2 lexus's over the years and have always has a good experience. They are a high volume dealership, so you can negotiate a good price and they will make it up on the next fool who doesn't know how to handle the sales person.

How much do you typically knock off the msrp when trying to negotiate with them or any dealer? I've been doing some reading and people of said to start of by offering 5k or 6k off the msrp. For money reasons, I might have to go the certified route.

Carlsbad checking in. Looking to buy a 2020 when they arrive (September?). I was looking at Toyota El cajon for the best deal but maybe I'll drive to Longo. I want a cement limited TRD 4x4 with sunroof and numerous TRD options (black tip exhaust, rsb, skid plate etc).

Out of curiosity what should be the goal price for the above? I got Toyota Poway down to $46k on an identical 2019 but need to wait for the updated infotainment.

Thanks everyone for the awesome advice.

Looks like I might go with Cement CrewMax SR5 package 4x4 and have rims/tires and 5100's installed after.

I'm being super indecisive on what want. How are the shocks that come with the off-road package? Found 2 trucks that are both 4x4, both have the SR5 package and one has the TRD off-road. The other one has the standard crappy rims and tires, but has the blacked emblems and sprayed on bed liner. My dilemma is, buy one with the off-road package that has everything (more money)or buy one with the SR5 package and put Bilstein 5100' and rims and tires.

Welcome! Buy an SR model!! You can add the grill you want, painted end caps, wheels and tires are always up for sale here and go with 5100s or 6112 billy shocks. You will save a ton of money!
