I’m the second owner; no idea what was done to it before I got it. Leafs are basically flat with the truck empty, but well-to-hub measurement seems normal compared to other factory trucks. Moved a set of wheels/tires yesterday (380-400lbs) and definitely noticed the truck swimming a bit on the highway. Walked out to it today and noticed that it looked like it might be sitting lower than usual.

I’ve swapped emails with Alcan and their price seems ok. My thought is to see if they can add 1” of height and maybe 4-500lbs capacity? Going to bump up to 34s with the next set of tires.

truck is a total grocery-hauler, but I do throw a few hundred pounds in the back and/or do some ranch stuff/light off-roading.

What should I do In terms of specs? Any other brand options I should consider? There used to be a place in ft worth that was apparently pretty legit, but they closed a few months ago. Anything in dfw I should look at? If I don’t have to spend $7-800 I’d be pretty ok with that.

    guide me o wise ones.

One is another good option for replacement. I would consider adding airbags to your current springs also.
