So I am still new to figuring out what tire goes with what wheel and etc etc. I am putting a 3” lift on my 2014 Tundra SR5 4x4 CM, and would like to run 35”s. Right now I am leaning towards purchasing the Worx Beast 18x9 with a 25mm offset.

Can anyone recommend any good 35’s that would stick out a little but not much? (would like to eventually purchase flares)

    Would a 325/65/R18 suffice? 35/12.50/R18?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I would so recommend checking out the tire and wheel section. There is more info in that section than you will ever want to know.

Yeah I’ve been reading through the wheel and tire setup board and it just seems like everyone is doing something different (lift, stock, etc etc). I am just trying to get a general direction to help make sure I am tracking correctly.

Everything that you're considering will certainly work. Remember that sticking out is done by the wheel offset and not really the tire. Your stock rims are a +60mm and the farther you go towards zero, the more everything will stick out. +25mm offset will be great with a set of flares. Tires really depends on the look you want and where you drive. Is she gonna be a sloppee pig or a pavement queen? The more aggressive the tread gets the louder the tires will be, they're usually heavier and can wear faster if they're on the pavement more often than not. Personally I would go for a 285/75/18. 2 tenths taller but 1.6" narrower. Still at 11.2" wide it's going to be a slightly better, less bulgey fit on a 9" rim. No matter how you go about it, with 3 inches of lift and 35's, you're gonna have some rubbin' and to get rid of it you'll have to do some cuttin' and grindin'.

Like TJ said... check out the tire/wheel section. If you actually read through the official setup thread among others you'll have all the answers to your questions. Doing a little research is good for you.

    Here is your dilemma.

If you want flares, you want the tires to stick out. You need low offset for that. But with lower offset, the largest tires you could accommodate will get smaller. For instance, with 18 mm offset, 295/70/18 is just about the largest you could go. With 0 offset, 33 inches is just about the largest. (I am talking about with 3 inch lift and 9 inch wide wheels)

Of course, if you are willing to cut your truck, then you could even accommodate 37 inch tires. Look at the Pro that won Baja 1000.

If you go with low offset, I would not recommend waiting too long to get flares. The side of your truck will greatly appreciate it.
