    Hey guys,

so, I had the Icon stage 2 kit installed on my truck. The front coils have 1 5/8” of exposed thread. This should have been about 3” of lift, but it actually lifted the front about 4”. The rear was lifted with the leaf pack, but it only gained about 1/2” (it should have been 1.5” of lift). So the front is sitting about an inch higher than the rear.

so what would you do? Lower the front some or raise the rear 1” with an additional method (blocks or shackles)?

    thanks

Shackles will be a better ride than blocks.

What leaf pack? The 3 leaf expansion pack that replaces your center 3 leaves? If so, did they remove the overload spring? I'd check that for the rear, as for the front just decrease some preload and drop it down

This thread is about 7 weeks old now and I would like to know if the front settled down a bit and/or If you went with some shackles? I am considering the ICON expansion pack for my build. If you only got 1/2" then I guess I should consider some shackles with the spring pack. Have others reported such a low result from the ICON pack? I see a guy on you tube is reporting good thing about the pack and from the looks of it he got some good lift.

The front did not settle. It stayed at 4" of lift. However, back in March. I lowered the front (to about 2.75" of lift) so that it sits level with the rear. I kept it like that to see how I would like it, but I decided that I wanted more height from the lift. So, I ordered a set of +2 coachbuilder shackles. I ordered them over 3 weeks ago and I am still waiting for those to be delivered (they are supposed to be here tomorrow). When installed, they will give me another 1.25" of lift on the rear and I plan to raise the front to 3.25-3.5" of lift. This will give me 1/2-3/4" of rake.

After about a couple of months now, I am still very happy with the Icon lift. The ride is amazing.

Nice. I want some rake. I'm planning on 2.5 up front and 2 in the rear. Let us know how much lift those shackles "actually" give you and if raising the front effects the front ride. I'm hearing that the ICON pack with lift shackles gives a plush ride. Let us know.
