I installed a 2.5" Eibach kit from Toytec and some shakles set at 1.5". I put on some 295/70r18 tires and had to do a slight BMC to clear. The extreme rake has been bugging me so today I lowered the shakles to the 1" setting. I measured from center hub and I had 24" in the front and 27" in the rear. Now I'm at 24" front and 26.5" in the rear.

    ***UPDATE***
Toytec is not willing to work with me. Something is obviously wrong...not even close to 2.5".
    Buyer beware.

    ***Final Update***
Toytec admitted that Eibach tested the coilovers on a 2WD Tundra and that they were in emergency mode to produce a spring for a 4WD truck. Toytec was difficult to deal with but I eventually got a refund and went with a different setup from a different vendor.

Others mentioned in a previous thread that maybe my coilovers are really only 2". Even then should it be 2.5" off?

What do you think? I took the picture on as level ground as I could find. And no the business isn't open so I'm not blocking handicap :)

    IMG_20190412_185543.jpg

And here's a picture of the coil-over. My springs are resting .5" below the lowest C-clip (should be 2.5" of lift".)

    IMG_20190412_182455.jpg

Another angle of the coil-over...(lowest ring)

Looks good to me. I like a little forward rake. Keep it like it is.

Looks more like 2in up front....been hearing complaints on that eibach kit it’s the wrong spring rate so your not getting the amount of lift advertised I could be wrong tho. Did you take before and after measurements?

I think it looks good with the rear higher honestly...our stock leaf packs are so soft anything in the bed puts it nose high.

24” from center hub to fender it is about 2” of lift

I didn't take measurements unfortunately. I may just end up adding shims when I get bored. I like rake too but 2.5" is a bit much! Or pay a shop to move the clip up on the Eibach but I'd still need shims anyway.

Although I like a little rake, I think in that pic the rear looks a tad high. And it’s bothering you enough so that you keep looking at it and posting here about it. I don’t believe thats the proper 2.5” in the front. I have 1.75” in front and yours doesn’t look much higher, if any. I added 1” in the back for a little rake with the 1.75”, so something is off on yours. To me, the back looks higher than 1”.

Our trucks need 700lb springs. Every manufacturer is selling coilovers with 600lb springs and no one is getting the lift they’re saying you will get.

700lb springs are what the trucks need for sure that’s what I have with my fox 2.5s no complaints plenty of lift currently at 3.5”....get shims and you will level out better

I think its to much rake, personally. If you don't care for it you could always order 1 set of shims from coachbuilder which would add .5" to the front.

Looks good. Last thing I want is my trucks' ass dragging on the ground every time I load it up or tow. If you never haul anything but groceries then level it out.

Got close to 2.7" with my OME 2.5" coilovers and that's with winch/ winch bumper hanging out front. ARB/OME coils are top notch. ToyTec matched my coilovers just right with the 614 coil.

I think it looks good but....... I’d want my nose to be level with the rear if I spent the money you did to get it to where it is.

Here’s a pic for comparison. This was when I had my Toytec Boss 3/1.5 with same size tires as you.

The difference is 2.5" currently. Supposedly 2.5" Eibach Coilovers in the front and a Toytec shackle set at 1" (middle hole).

A stock rake is 2.5", leveling kits are sold as 2.5". If we remove my rear 1" lift that leaves 1.5" of difference. Meaning my front "2.5" Eibach Coilovers got me only 1" of lift. They likely put them together wrong. 1.5" is too much to be off..I could see .5" but not 1.5".

I've already contacted Toytec so hopefully they have good customer service. They forgot to ship me my rear shocks entirely when I ordered them along with the coilovers. I had to call and ask where they were.

I'm okay with rake, and it does look ok but I'm not getting what I paid for. There should be 1-1.5" rake. Not 2.5".
