I think you can use stove paint or engine paint. It doesn't get that hot. You may wanna use an etching primer. I think I'm gonna do mine and the tail pipe from my BAMuffler back

I did mine using VHT paint. Had to scuff up the chrome quite a bit. Still holding up good after 8 months.

The stock pipe has to be cleaned and treated prior to painting it...i believe the instructions are on Dirty deeds website
