Well... pretty sure my unit is toast but on the off chance I can fix it!!
I ejected a CD yesterday and a penny came out and I heard a jangle of more falling down in the unit. yay 2 year olds!!!
I have the white screen. We had to pull the fuse so it wouldnt drain battery. Is there any fix for this? We are fairly mechanically inclined and savvy and would love to save myself 1k on buying a new one although I am leaning towards aftermarket NO CD player for above reasons
    Thank you in advance

I’d say start searching eBay or scrap yards for a functional unit and just make the swap.
