This is what I like to see! Everybody’s different style, really cool!
This is my travel rig, my wife hates to fly (it’s not even funny ) and I love to drive. So I decided to build a truck that would fit us just right. I don’t do much wheeling but I like the fact that the truck is still very capable if we decide to get off the beaten path.
2018 Tundra cm Platinum 4wd MGM.
Bought the truck new in Jan 18 and started making changes immediately, heck I think I drove off the lot directly to the leer dealer.
    Mod list
    Leer 100XL
    Bedrug
    Led int/ext lighting
    Go Rhino running boards
Painted mirror caps and door handles
    TRD front/rear Swaybar
Bilstein 6112 (highest setting) up front with 2 Coachbuilder shims on drivers side 1 on passenger
    JBA upper control arms
Bilstein 5100 shocks out back with Coachbuilder +3 shackles
    Cb drop
    Fuel Anza 18x9 +20 (grey w/black lip)
    Nitto Terra Grappler G2 295/70/18

I love the truck, the way it drives is much better than the wet bread suspension that came from Toyota. The nittos aren’t noisy at all but it did take a little getting used to so much rubber, has a softer feel than the lower profile factor tires. All in all it’s my favorite and does everything I need it to. Also thanks to all the guys/gals that have shared their build experience, that’s how I put mine together! Here are some pictures along the way. 83D1B071-E1B5-4A4D-BFB7-802655431A2F.jpg49250F1C-FBA9-4C8A-97B9-45010D2BFB1F.jpgC1020957-A5F1-43F8-824C-B726660C5126.jpgEBA711DD-F6E1-4EC8-B075-6634E0E3347B.jpgD94B6E35-82A4-4372-92F7-416C53D55835.jpg

Sat behind the wheel for 17 hours and wasn’t bad at all. Plus all the scenery you miss when you fly.

My grandpa had a cap on his little Nissan truck years ago and I always like it. They look especially good on our trucks. I must have looked at tons of pics before I started my build. I know I’ve run across yours once and that’s what I was going for. Just can’t beat it!
