    I think I got a good deal.

    New 2019 Tundra 4.6L CrewMax 4X2 TSS Off road package = $32,600

I realized after purchase, that I did not have tow/haul button or electric brake control.

Will this be an issue for towing a boat and trailer? Can the deal add these at a reasonable cost.

Electronic brake controler yes but the tow haul button no. It's something that comes with tow packages from toyota. I would really recommend you make sure what is safe for your particular truck to pull before going crazy with it. But for an example I have the 5.7 and I forget many time to push that button when pulling my camper not a big deal it's just better shift points for the transmission.

:goingcrazy:I didn't know that eather .and makes me wonder of it's a 4.6 thing or both the 4.6 and 2x4 idk. Sounds like a sweet deal but as long as he can pull what he needs to that would be my only concern.

Are these numbers consistent with the type of towing you guys are doing?

    Tow Limits
    2019 Toyota Tundra4×2 Double Cab: 10,200 lbs.
    4×2 CrewMax: 10,100 lbs.
    4×4 Double Cab: 9,900 lbs.
    4×4 CrewMax: 9,800 lbs.

If you have the mechanical hydraulic brakes on your boat trailer, you won't need the electronic brake controller.

My dad towed his Ranger bass boat with his 2008 Tundra since new. He never even used tow haul and had no brake controller installed.
His boat does have electric over hydraulic trailer brakes and he's never had a problem. They just work with a normally factory installed tow package.
He has since passed me that truck and moved on to a 2017 1794 Edition 4x4. He still tows the boat and never bothers with tow haul or the factory installed brake controller and has never had an issue. My dad has towed a boat since he could drive, so he knows his stuff I guess!

The trucks are made to handle the towing no doubt, I think it just depends on your confidence in towing what you tow. Tow haul just lets the computer know to expect its stopping the truck with more weight behind it.
If you're a confident driver and it's not an overly large tractor trailer or a yaght being hauled, any small trailer or boat should be easy stuff with a standard tow package.
If you'll need special braking for larger or heavier multiple axle trailers, a brake controller of some sort would probably be advised.

Also check what type of brakes are on the trailers or boats you wish to tow and get familiar with how they work, some require a brake controllers, some don't, and some trailers don't even have brakes! *Insert photo of my happy dad to give you confidence*

Thanks for input buddy! That picture of your dad hauling a boat is indeed a happy one! :)
