2012 Black Toyota Tundra Crewmax Platinum 5.7 4WD
    Pretty much everything
Here are some pics of my 2012 Toyota Tundra crewmax 4x4 platinum with custom everything. All work was done by me, I’m 25 so I know all of it isn’t perfect

    So here’s the story
I got her on May 3 of 2017, a loaded out 2012 Toyota Tundra crewmax platinum 5.7 4WD. It came with 35% tint on the front two windows, running boards and a hard bed cover aside from the platinum options. I have no idea why the emblem was missing?

One of the first things I did was a 42” led light bar behind the grill, I would recommend 40 because the 42 is pretty tight. It also came out lower than I wanted E4FC244D-83FE-4F53-B11E-E5ED2A357C06.jpg

The next thing was remove the factory muffler and add 18” echo chambers 8F2A2B77-2F92-4539-B7EB-72A90321B897.jpg

Then we were gonna take the camper out so I upgraded the mirrors which you will never regretBA815F28-4AE8-4F06-875A-D100650572E2.jpg

Then headlights and tail lights were next

Ended up putting 5% on 35% and ended up with some dark shit6EF858E6-66CD-4D36-BB1F-3D207BB57AC1.jpg

Blacked out the door handles for like 20 bucks that was a steal for what it did to the appearance AA0A9C61-3431-40CE-9E3F-1A05AEDC2399.jpg97B89DA2-42D5-4A20-BE77-41840939113D.jpg

Then I got aftermarket wheels but the chrome didn’t last long

Then the grill got replaced so I didn’t have to look at the missing emblem anymore78840AD5-72C4-4EE4-B431-99CAA7DADEE4.jpg

Didn’t document the inside as well but there’s bully dog, full time rear view camera along with the factory back up cam, dash cam, radar, police scanner, citizen band radio, iPhone chargers ran everywhere, all weather Toyota floor mats, hand guns everywhere 40DF8C36-1545-4179-8A46-A12C69616364.jpg881A4B93-0A8E-4D4C-99A9-C0D2084F92FA.jpg

2021 update, covid hour cuts along with other life events really slowed progress

in July of 2019 she got hart drilled and slotted rotors, didn’t like there pad though so I swapped to oem Toyota

August of 19Got in a wreck and destroyed the spider gear

September of 20It was time for tire so I decided Rims too and 20x12 only made sense and we wrapped them in 37x13.50
    A24188E9-8BB3-4139-A322-8BD2464B6C6B.jpg

But the wider rims required more lift so we went to 9” of total lift
    C82B1462-9867-4238-A431-C7D9A63A6E0B.jpg

So overall we are roughly 11.5” over factory

December of 20 Then we got a camper (600 mile trip, 0 issues. Slight sway nothing to corrects for though) the trucks kinda on hold at the moment though
    0ED40DD8-0108-4B47-81E0-548E9879DE9E.jpg

Then she started to show signs of the system so she got air bags (leaf spring are in the works but I wanna add long travel at the same time so I’m trying to find a company to contact to get custom long travel control arms that will work with the lift, if the lift limits the travel I’m okay with that due to the benefits of longer control arms/wider stance)
    89AE0113-A230-49FC-9EA8-7A71B75D72D7.jpg

She still gets to play though

here recently we added 1k over factory leaf springs which I’m still arguing with the air bags

the beginning of this was due to shackle failure, driver side both shackles failed after 3 years from being installed backwards (I was young and dumb….take your time) 8B5B3019-E4F9-463F-A949-4F4D2CE14B4D.jpg

then my landlord knew a guy with the springs (top factory, bottom upgraded set. Manufacturer and part number in next pic) B4616529-BB0C-49C7-B454-3E52A2CE34B0.jpgC20C7C6B-8901-4276-9837-3BD9CF972368.jpg

then the headlights were swapped, first is the set I took out (installed September of 17 removed oct of 21)45CC2C39-E37E-4BB1-ADDD-4768FC12008A.jpgAnd these were installed which are significantly darker housing but light output I would say is 40-50% better probably 80% better than factory

Onboard air and the 46 gallon tank are coming 46 gal is setup to be picked up this Saturday and air I want before 2022 also Rough Country vertex shocks are suppose to be here tomorrow so they’ll probably go on Wednesday

Guy backed out on the fuel tank but the shocks did go on and it’s definitely a night and day difference

Here’s the old vs new on the rear unfortunately I didn’t take a front pic

    6FA47ED1-9723-4311-9E41-AA96A8CBD76F.jpg

here’s the rear on the truck, I did them at an angle to make it easier to see what number they are on

    6FA47ED1-9723-4311-9E41-AA96A8CBD76F.jpg

The fronts were a lot more of a pain in the ass but that’s to be expected

    8B2260A9-B65F-4039-B9CE-1005178EA99B.jpg

Then we got all the onboard air stuff but I’ve gotta find a local place for fittings and hose because I’m not trying to guess based on the descriptions that they provide online

Cavern speed was really 10/10 with the mountD7500AA5-E6F3-4931-BB5E-D4872E5BF0C1.jpg4BCFB763-180A-406E-8B83-7ED8FE1C0423.jpg

and glowshift killed it with the gauges as usual 00BE5AC3-8BA3-4152-9CC9-B2E547B1ED25.jpgThe three on the side I’ve had since 2014 and the two over the steering wheel are brand new
