Looking to replace my stock muffler with something that has a deeper tone. I have a flowmaster 40 on my gmc 5.3 with cats removed and like that sound. been looking at the flowmaster super 44. Anyone have experience with this muffler or any other suggestions? I have already looked into the dirty deeds system but it's way too much $$$ for me. Not looking to spend more than $250-$300

    Alot of them
I would save up for a @dirtydeeds system. He does pretty good sales often (he will post here when he does), and they perform better than a Flowmaster. I know this from experience coming from a Super 40 to his 8". The customer service with his whole crew is outstanding!

How much better do they perform? I can get a flowmaster for $100 and maybe another $100 to have it welded in. DD 8" system is between $1100-$1200 shipped. No offense to him or anyone that has his system, I just can't justify that much money without significant gains across the board.

Slap a Magnaflow in that badboy! My buddy did it and it sounds sweet! He said he didn't gain anything though..

I tow also, I just bought my tundra. Have been towing with a 2000 gmc sierra 5.3 with deleted cats and a flowmaster 40 and it doesn't bother me. Bought tundra to replace the sierra for towing.

If you ran a flowmaster and it didn't bother you while towing, then I'm pretty sure the Magnaflow won't bother you.
