I'm looking at ordering a flowmaster 50 series HD muffler. What should I order? 3 inch opening on both sides?

I have a single side exit exhaust. The ones ive seen are 3" in and out or 3" in and dual 2.5" outs

I think you just answered your own question lol. If you are single then 3" in and out would work. Obviously dual 2.5" would not unless you plan on replacing the tails too.

I replaced my TRD duals with dirtydeeds and they were 2.5" tails.

Theres a ton of other sizes and options too for other 50 series. I want to be sure I get the right inlet/outlet size.

Stock is 2 3/4". If you value low end torque then this is the size you'll want.

That said, flowmaster doesn't make that size.

That's why I started making my own exhaust for a tundra, nobody made correctly sized or engineered stuff for our trucks. So I made my own:)
