After much much much study I've decided a Tundra is going to be our next truck (99% sure). I'll probably end up ordering since I haven't seen anything like I want in the slightly used/low mile market. On the build sheet I've come up with what I think I want.
SR5, White (and required $4300 TRD Off Road package to get it in white), double cab, 8' bed, and 4x4. Now for options, I'm thinking TRD brake and sway bar upgrade, bed rails and tie downs, TRD air intake and a SS side bar kit. I heard aftermarket spray in bed liners are better so I might go that route and floor mats? Eh, maybe. Any suggestions on what's worth getting from Toyota and what's better aftermarket would definitely be appreciated.
I hate giving up the 2013 Taco but there's only so much room, It'll be a trade in.

    Thanks in Advance!

Thanks all! We just need something bigger with the ability to tow. We have a small toy hauler (19' LOA) and I tow a Kubota BX-25 tractor a few times a year to our hunting property on the Eastern Shore, I'm also a car nut so we have a Manx clone Dune Buggy and I have a 1978 Triumph Spitfire I need to pick up in NH so the need is there. Eventually we might get a bigger camper although I told my wife that we are boaters first! We bought the camper (used of course) for one or two times a year due to a lot of our friends are into camping big time. The Taco REALLY feels the toy hauler but tows the Kubota just fine. I looked at the Fords and I kept saying, "I hope my next truck holds together like my Toyota", and then I decided to check out the Tundras, I'm planning on doing the Tundra. We'll still be Taco owners too, my Wife still has a 2009 that she refuses to part with. Also, since everyone is saying where they're from, we're in Maryland.

Here's the new frame I'm putting together for it, I'll try to get a picture of the actual car on here but for some reason it's not showing up in my files to upload.

Sort of, the frame is made by Berrien Buggy in York PA, it's 14.5" shorter than a stock VW pan so it will fit all clones. The 1965 pan it's now on suffered a frame horn collapse so I figured it was worth it to go 1st class since we have so much fun with it...its getting thousands of $$$ in new parts...plus this time I build it I have the internet so the world's at my finger tips as far as parts and information! :)

Welcome from NC! Only suggestion I would give is to make sure you add the LED headlights and fog lights. Everything else you mentioned you can just bolt on and possibly come out cheaper... @Roman is the OEM parts master that can get you anything you may need or want once you get your Tundra.

Yes, Spring 2015 (maybe 2014), that's the last time we were there. I won't make it this Spring but we'll probably be down there for the Fall show.

Does anyone have pictures of a double cab with the doors open? We can either get a double cab with an 8' bed or a crew cab with a 6.5' bed, I'd really like to have an 8' bed but all that cab room is nice too!

Yeah, I'm still learning their psycopathic build site! Looks like to get white w/8' bed I can only order the minimum SR package! So I it's definetly going to be a double cab. I'll have to decide whether I want to change from my choice of color to get some upgrades.

Ok, either I'm going nuts or the build site is changing by the minute. Now white is available in the top SR package (Like I thought I saw before)! I'm printing this out while I have what I want!!!

The build page on Toyota’ssite isn’t a true build site. It will only let you build a truck that exists in your region.
You can always hop in to the dealership closest to you and have them look for one like you want.

    Welcome btw!

Thanks for the info! I came up with SR5 top package, 8' bed in white, no accessories. Maybe I'll go over it later and see what package I really need and see if they can do it in white. After looking at the competition, their selection and reliability issues I'll most likely be setting forth the process within a few days.
The main things I want is all the tow stuff like the 38G tank, extendable tow mirrors, etc. I like XM as well and the navigation would be nice.
I've read a few posts about the Toyota trailer brake controller having issues, so that still happening? I have a Redarc Tow Pro that I installed in my Tacoma that is the BEST controller I've ever used, I'm thinking of pulling it and putting a cheapo in its place.
