I know most people get lifts and/or tires, but what has been your most useful mod so far? Mine has to be adding a driver side grab handle, cus I'm short. :p

This mod has given me the most satisfaction: tow mirrors and puddle lights combo. A true DIY mod.

This mod is probably the most useless: black TRD shifter and vinyl wrapped trim combo. I still love it though...

Honestly, mine have been the simple things that make the best/most difference to me and my simple taste.

    1) Bushwacker OE smooth fender flares (black)
    2) AVS Aeroskin 2 Bug/Rock deflector (black)
    3) AVS window vent visors (black)
    4) Saddleman Blanket front seat covers (black/white)
    5) Saddleman Canvas rear seat covers (black)
    6) Dash Design DashTex dashboard cover (black)
    7) Tinted windows (black)
    8) Spray on bed liner
    9) WeatherTech Floor liners
    10) Auto Start
    11) Block Heater

I will soon be adding a BedRug and still debating on a SofTopper or an ARE MX Model topper. I’m just too damn skeptical of the quality or lack of for the price of the ARE (or any hard topper). Hard toppers literally seem to be hit or miss on the quality and I have a hard time supporting that kind of business model.
My truck is completely stock (mechanically) and I plan to keep it that way. I will not be changing lift, tires, or any other alterations in which Toyota has engineered. Don't get me wrong, I love to looked at and read about decked out pickups, but it’s just not my style. I live in the oilfields of North Dakota...90% of people here are in fully modded up trucks, original condition is against the grain here.
My pickup is my family’s highway, vacation, and camping rig.

I thought about starting a thread for that mod...but it might be too in depth and detailed and just drag on forever.

Just a Bed Rug and Snugtop XTRA Vision
    # 1 for me is the Snugtop XtraVision. With that in, I then got those stainless cubes that go in the bedrails, and onto them, the rubber holders for my shovel, the holder for the fire extinguisher, and the D rings that helped me lash the two RIGID 22' boxes that I stacked, against the front. I really like those RIGID cases. But I am not putting that stuff in my truck without a locked cap and nice dark tinted windows. Can't forget the BedRug that saves my knees from hell, and that little tray for the cavern that Toyota calls the center console box. And the LED front turn signal and rear brake lights. Oh, and the alien that helped save the paint a few times on my last truck ;)

    Not many yet, mostly stock.
Most people that get big tires and lift kits get the same mod your talking about. It's a very useful one.
Personally that was low on my list as I'm tall. My advise is watch your wallet, there's so many cool, useful mods to do and customizing to your liking. My first mod was de chrome. Great job. !!! Cheers
