I pushed the envelope a little today on my '19 PRO.

34.6 gal or about 60 miles past the Fuel light coming on or what I call the 'war time reserve'.

I wondered if there are any other brave souls that have pushed the 38gal tank past that. I figure there are about 7 gallons of fuel in the tank when the light comes on, but I don't know how much of that is useable.

I pumped in 35.2 a couple of weeks back. I took off that morning and forgot I was pretty low on fuel. I'm not real good about watching the warning display when I have my "awesome" JBL cranked up to fully distorted! LOL

Yeah there is a thread on this someone went 42 miles. I believe it came down to once the light comes on we have 8 gallons of gas left or roughly that. Search that thread there is a ton of info. I have personally went around 35 miles after the light came on. Tons of people in that thread have gone past the light

I've put 40 gallons in mine once. That's about as low as I'll get.

I just went about 30 miles past the refuel warning and put in almost 33 gallons. I don’t think I have the stones to go much further.

Whoa tough guy here. Lol. Nobody really cares. As stated, unless you have an aftermarket or aux tank, you’re not putting in 40 gallons in a 38 gallon tank

I'm not the one tough guying here, tough guy. Just check my mod list. It's right there. Obviously, you care. You cared enough to click the quote, type that out and click on post.

So if you want me to check your mod list, then you obviously have an aftermarket tank. You’re in the wrong post. This is about stock fuel tanks. And no, really don’t care what size fuel tank you have.

Just gotta use you're eyes. Sure, I guess I'm in the wrong post, but you don't gotta swing your dick around like you think it's huge.

    I dunno?

I know the pumps are calibrated, but I've noted some odd numbers of gallons when filling gas cans.

Just saying that pump could have shown 40 gallons

    I got 37.4 once.

Ok, maybe it’s because I ran out....

She literally wouldn’t start and I put in a gallon.

Calibrated and the amount you could get from the filler inlet tube, gas cans usually have a limit line on them for there set full amount .

Just got back home from a road trip from Mass to SC and back. The 38 gallon fuel tank has much more endurance than I or my family does. Never went below a 1/4 tank since by then we were either where we needed to stop for the night or someone had to pee or got hungry. Apparently I can go from Mass (almost NH) to Winchester, VA and from Winchester to Spartanburg, SC on less than a tank for each leg which ain’t bad at all. Average MPG per tank was over 18 according to the in-dash computer. If I didn’t stop on the way home just before the Mass pike I would have made it in 1 tank with 70 miles to spare from Virginia! Even my wife’s diesel X5 can’t make it in 1 tank each leg of the trip (well almost).

I had a issue one time with a gas station pumping 4 more gallons then the tank size. I had to bring it to the clerks attention.
I got my money back and never went back to that station.

So you got free gas, because the pump put more gas in the tank than the tank size? That's not how that should work....
