I'm attempting to install the morimoto XB's in my 2017 SR5 halogen equipped truck. the passenger side works fine, but the drivers side only illuminates the side marker- no DRL strips, not even high/low beams nothing but side marker.

On the malfunctioning light, when any connector is halfway in / halfway making contact the light works as normal, but when I fully seat the connector - it immediately switches to side marker and nothing else.

Also no blinker or blinker sound, no hazards either.

This is a bit ridiculous, again when I am unplugging connectors and re-plugging them in on the drivers side it works very briefly when the connector is about halfway in.

    Anyone experience this?

That's a weird issue. Take that lights and swap them to see what happens. Also, make sure all of the pins inside the connectors look fine...not pulling out, bent, etc.

What fuse slot is the tap plugged into? Are both fuses in the tap 10 amps?

ok I figured out that I blew the 15amp hazard fuse when I was testing the functionality of the passenger light. Everything is functioning normally now as I put a new fuse in but I am afraid to try the hazards. any idea if the morimotos are drawing too much power to run the hazards? sorry for the ever changing problem haha I appreciate you

You may have just had an electrical surge that popped the fuse. The 14 and up is really sensitive when it comes to electrical work being done while the battery is connected. Since everything is connected, I would try the hazards now....you should be fine.
