Any one ever run a 17x8.5 0 offset on a 3” level lift? If so what size tires are you running/can run.

Kevin am I reading this right? Did you replace your OEM wheels with 17 x 8.5 with 0 offset aftermarket wheel ? With a 3" lift you could a 295/70/17, but with that 0 offset expect a stick out / aggressive stance.

Ha. No sir. Was trying to get any info on the offset if anyone had done it yet. I almost ordered method the standard in that but I’m going icon six’s 17x8.5+25. Now just gotta decide 315/70-17 or 285/75-17.

Front Liner with the small front mud flap removed. Just talked to Icon they said no way they are rubbing. I'm not stupid. My installer and I stood right there and saw it. ICON said "they should fit perfect". They don't!!

Did they rub cab mount at all? I will chop out anything if I need to. Just wanna know what I’m getting into first.

That sucks your going down to a 32.7” tire though.

Do not rub the cab mount. Just the plastic molding.

Trim the plastic a little bit. Better than going down to a smaller sized tire.

I might. How do you trim it without cutting a hole in it. Seems like it would look terrible. ???

I just cut a hole in mine. Don’t even notice it anymore. Only way to not cut a hole is either to shim the bumper forward, pull the plastic forward and drill it into your bumper corners underneath or try a heat gun.

OK the 285-75-17 BFGKO2s rubbed the front fender enough for me to not want to trim anything. I put on 285-70-17s and everything clears nicely. To refresh, this is on a 2017 Tundra 1794. Icon stage 6 Lift with the new RXT leaf pack. Tires are mounted on Icon Six-Speed wheels. What Icon doesn't tell you is that you have to balance the tires "Static"??. Cant use "Dynamic" which is the sick on weights anywhere inside the wheel because they will not clear the calipers. Luckily the set of tires I got were good and road force balanced less than 20 lbs. Therefore my shop was able to get a good balance on them. Truck rides better with a very slight wider stance and 17" vs 20" wheels. I'm pleased but only with taller tires would fit our trucks without cutting and jerryrigging.
