at least have some consistency on what you are moving.

I see a lot of threads that need to move to other forums. I see one thread related to tires/wheels but about 10 posts down I see another thread that you leave in the 3rd gen. same goes for suspension threads, audio threads and 3rd party sellers that should move to the marketplace.

I wouldn't have an issue with you moving threads but being selective on what you want to move is not democratic.

2"CB shackles, bushings and 1 shim, lockerdown console vault, rear folding seat back mod, snugtop shell with opening side windows, 46g fuel tank, SDHQ sliders and hidden winch, Decked Drawers, Alcan leaf springs and got rid of the interior chrome
The mods are doing their best to maintain this site. It’s not easy to travel the narrow path between a wild obnoxious free for all and a family friendly place on the internet.
    This isn’t a democracy. I think they’re doing a great job.

herding cats reminds me of watching the caretakers at Busch Gardens try to herd Wallaby's into their pens for the night, it was hilarious and I now use the term 'herding wallaby's to describe a free for all mess. :)

Exactly. One of the best sites I belong to. And by far the best 'Tundra' site.

My thanks to the mods and volunteers who work behind the scenes.

You do realize there are a few active mods here and 18k members with over 100k posts? We cannot see everything and take everything. I move what I can when I see it.

    I was thinking Canada.

I believe I posted a few early ones in incorrect Forums. I know I felt silly when realized. Asked MOD to relocate as needed and it was done. Easy Cheesy......

I have found the mods here to be very impartial, you dont find that around a lot. If you want to meet a bunch of db mods, head over to TundraTalk. That was the primary reason I came here, this place is great home for tundra.

Deciding where to move threads is a completely subjective decision, not objective. An audio question in the 2nd gen section, but it's not really specific to 2nd gens? Probably moved to audio. Also could vary from moderator to moderator.

well.. maybe OP has a point. In the interests of upholding the democracy of the tundras.com republic, we should hold votes on whether threads should be moved. Can we also have votes on how long people get banned for?

I moved this thread to off topic, FYI.

i don't have an issue with thread(s) being moved, but when you leave some on the 1st/2nd page of the 3rd gen but move others just like it that where on the 1st/2nd page, all I am asking for as some consistency. if there isn't then I understand its per mod bias on how they view the thread.

I was thinking the rules where the same as the parent forum that this forum was based on, if I remember correctly was from Tacoma world. that was the forum that led me to tundras.com.

and I know you guys are busy and are doing this as a side charity and we thank you for that.

just trying to understand the rules if they are different than what I was expecting.

    Moving threads isn’t a “rule”

This site is owned by the same one as TW, 4R.com, Jeeps.net. Granted, some areas are more relaxed than others depending on the forum.

As an example, on 4R- we don’t enforce the BST heavily. On TW we enforce it with bans when they circumvent the rules.

Sounds super specific lol. OP if one of your threads got moved against your will it probably would have been best to Pm w.e mod was available at the time to inquire about it. Think that may go over a little better with the ones dedicating their spare time to make the forum a better place. I’m sure you are aware of that now though.
