Well had a fun weekend with my son working on the truck with parts from sparks toyota. They were super cool by allowing a family member to pick up the parts for me to avoid shipping. First mod of the weekend was mirrors covers. This one was nerve racking and frustrating because the chrome covers wouldn't budge. For anyone working on this I suggest you start with the clip that is closest to the body of truck. Pull the clip back while pushing the mirror cover off.

Next was the door handles. We went back and forth a bunch between color matched white and matte black. We ended up with matte black going well with the over theme I was going for

Next up was one of my favorites that seems to have a lot of opinions on here. Coloer matched pocket riveted flares. I personally love the way they look and they do a great job keeping all the crap that these tires throw up of the side of my truck.

Nice! Looks real good. The flares compliment the Fuels really well.

Love that you're getting your son involved. I get my 3 year old involved as much as I can (mostly grabbing tools and just getting his hands dirty for now). I just want it to be a big part of his life!

Next up were blacking out the stock step bars. This will hopefully be temporary until I can save enough for the steps I really won't. I'm leaning toward RB20s.

Got mine from sparks Toyota in myrtle beach. Great prices. Flares have a lot of static out of the package that will collect brake dust... rub down with a dryer sheet to fix this issue. I actually ended up recounting my mud flaps due to the amount of trash the tires were throwing up
