Just got back from Moab - wow! Moab has so many trails with many taking a whole day to complete that 1 week is just not enough time.

I rolled with a Jeep, 3 Tacos, an FJ, and a 4Runner during the Easter Jeep Safari so there were hundreds of Jeeps and the trails were busy. Some trails were even closed for the event.

    Day 1: Hell's Revenge
Getting over the first iconic hump at the entrance was thrilling and helped get the nerves out as I was just too excited. For the most part this trail is pretty easy as everything pretty much has a bypass. I took whatever lines were the hardest (as long as I could fit).

    Hell's Gate:
I found that the entrance that drops you down into Hell's Gate was more nerve racking than going up.

    The Escalator:
Definitely need a good spotter to climb that second waterfall because there is a hidden dip on the top of the first waterfall that makes you want to tip over.

It was like making a 3 pointer at the buzzer, people were going wild at the bottom cheering me on!!!

I've got a ton more stuff to post but not as much time, so I'll post up another one in a bit.

Also tried doing one of the hot tubs, not Mickeys because it's just too tight.

The bottom was wet and muddy, never had a chance. Getting into the tub did a real number on my rear bumper but it stood up to the punishment.

The Jeep crew down at the bottom were about to leave until they saw me rolling up. My friends were telling me they said "Oh sh!t, I gotta see this!" At the end they were like "OMG I've never seen a Tundra hit that before!"
    Felt good.

The wife and I did a short trip last year and really want to go back for longer. We drove to the top of Gemini Bridges and popped the tent in the back to sleep overnight. The night sky hits a lot different with no lights and that Utah sky. There were not many folks out when we went so I wasn’t able to hit the tougher trails due to not having a legit spotter. Would love to get some guys together to make that drive out...it really is amazing. Thanks for posting trip pictures.

Here's some of my fails at Metal Masher :(
I am now on a mission to put on 40s - I'll be back Moab!!

Here's the first major ledge. Couldn't approach it straight on, approach angle was not cutting it - now if I had 40s :monocle:
I came in at an angle but the passenger rear tire would lift off the ground by 1.5' - did NOT like that feeling at all.

    Tundra.1stLedge.a.png

Here at the third ledge my sliders and rear diff where just dragging too much weight - this is where I smashed my rear diff camera RIP
    Tundra.3rd.ledge.a.jpg

    Tundra.3rd.ledge.b.jpg

At the next big ledge the long wheel base and poor approach angle ganged up on me. I could not bump it because I was hitting my front bumper.:anonymous: But once I got the front wheels up they had no traction and the rear wheels were too deep in the ledge to move.
    Tundra.4th.ledge.a.jpg

Here's me going down the first large ledge at The Falls at Steel Bender.

Forgot to close and lock my rifle case so all my recovery gear came flying out

    Tundra.GoingDownLedge1.e.jpg

Rear bumper ate it coming down.
    Tundra.GoingDownLedge1.f.jpg

The second ledge is not so bad. Rear bumper didn't even touch a thing.
