I recently had a shop swap out my TPMS sensors when swapping tires on my 2019. They mentioned struggling to get the new sensors (non-OEM, of their choosing) programmed and needing to run through a more extensive reprogramming procedure. Didn't think much of it at the time as they ultimately got the sensors reading. However, I've noticed a couple odd things since then...
    • I have an Alpine head unit that previously would display engine RPMs and a variety of temps. None of this is available anymore, saying only "OBD2 disabled". It does still report battery voltage and tire pressure.
    • I decided to poke around in Carista to see if this was some kind of setting and was surprised to find that most of my customization options are now missing. There are still a few like seat belt dings, etc. but many of the options I changed as recently as December '24 can no longer be configured (but previous modifications HAVE been retained).
Any theories on what they did, or if any of this is even related? What should I check? There are no error codes or evidence of recently cleared error codes and the truck drives normally. I haven't asked the shop about it yet, wanting to first gather some theories on 1. if this is even plausible 2. what shenanigans they might have pulled to get the sensors working.

Unfortunately no idea here. I recently had new sensors put in with my new set of tires and mine work fine. But I also have the OEM display. I hope this gets rectified for you buddy. Welcome from TN!!
