For some reason, my mirrors are no longer tilting down when putting the truck in reverse. B.U. camera still works normal. Has anyone dealt with this issue before and is there a fix? Thanks in advance.

Check your mirror switch is set to either left or right, when the switch is in the middle, the mirrors don't tilt. Its a feature in case you don't want the tilt when backing up.

Stupid question. Is this on all models or just 1794's?

    Think just 1794/platinums.

Thanks. I have an SR5. Always out of habit ever since I've had vehicles with power mirrors, I keep the mirror switch on the middle setting. No reason just habit. I thought maybe, just maybe there was a nifty feature I didn't know I had. Nope.

My old 2007 Limited has this feature. Maybe because back then it was top of the line.

Thank you for the response, Chelly. I will look at that when I leave for work in a few.

They do, give it a go! You can also adjust where they tilt in reverse and they will go back to that spot each time.

I tried it after work today and it doesn't work on mine. I have a 17 platinum. Maybe this was an 18 and up feature?

Well, it went back to normal. I set the switch for the left mirror and as soon as I put it in reverse, they tilted down.

Learned something new! Guess I'll move my switch from the middle to left or right position and check it out next time I back up.

I have a Sequoia with the reverse tilt function. It's a button I have to press for the function to turn on, I leave it on all the time. Every time I'm in reverse, both mirrors tilt down. I leave my mirror adjustment in the middle.

How do you get them to tilt?

Never mind. I was thinking about the wife's car. Sorry

What I did with mine, although I never use it now, was program driver 2 memory with both mirrors adjusted down and in a little so I can see the rear wheels.
