I threw all my MF stuff in the washer the other day and ran it.....I had to leave for work, and my wife knows if she sees all the car cleaning towels in the wash that they need to be air dried only......Well, my son didn't know that. He was the next to need the washer, and thought he'd do ol' dad a favor by taking care of getting my towels and mitts dried for me too.

So, my wash mitts, my Griot's PFM, and several of my other random rags that I use were dried on normal heat with a fabric softener sheet. Is a one-off incident enough to ruin them? What do yall think? Probably ok being that it was just one time? I have plenty of rags....not a big deal to toss a few of them, but I'd hate to have to replace mitts.....and especially would rather not have to buy another PFM........

Fabric softener doesn't last forever. Just run them through a couple warm cycles in the washer.

    First world problems.

I have microfiber towels that have probably been through 1000 cycles with dryer sheets, can't tell there is anything up other than it takes a little more water exposure to get them wet. :notsure:

I have no problems with drying towels I use low heat. I don’t use fabric softener so I’d just rewash them. I don’t think this would ruin them.

I’ve had the same thing happen and didn’t notice any issues. I’d say one time isn’t going to do any damage.
