Bought new June 2017. Mods done May-June 2019 (I got busy, and boy am I happy): *Elka 2.5 coil overs front, elka 2.5 rear both with reservoir cylinders: https:/us.elkasuspension.com/product/2-5-reservoir-front-rear-shocks-kit-for-toyota-tundra-2007-to-2017-2-in-to-3-in-lift/ (set to Elka factory settings, with built-in compensation for lean, 2.5" of suspension lift in front). (Bought from Toytec, installed locally) *Total chaos UCA: (bought Toytec, installed locally) *New rear leaf spring pack: don't have link (provides about 2" of lift and stiffens things up a little bit) *35x12.50 Falken on 20" MR 309 Grid "race" wheels (Really, really regret that I didn't get 18" or even 17" wheels. Like the look and road performance, wish I had more rubber to play with on the trail, poor choice). *Stealth light bar in grill valance: https://www.roughcountry.com/toyota-30in-led-bumper-kit70655c.htmlgclid=CjwKCAjwuqfoBRAEEiwAZErCshDWqD9kgBWOkMW3JR7J4Q0STQuMzrP2CZ5pWdlsICepeiPyVB4M-xoCWEwQAvD_BwE (this thing is bright, and almost drowns out my high-beams even at distance. It cost about $250... I have no idea why anyone would spend over 1K on a rigid bar) *LED projector headlight bulb replacement: (gotta find the link) *Headlight Revolution LED fog light replacement: https://headlightrevolution.com/2014-2017-toyota-tundra-led-fog-light-bulb-upgrade-gtr-lighting-ultra-series/ (similar to post above about the bar... these are expensive, but about 1/3 of rigid, and plenty bright for both on and off-road use) *Dark window tint (matches the rear and back window, so quite dark). *stubby antenna (Don't do this if you live in a rural area without XM, it looks cool, but like much of it's ilk, it isn't functional and you lose signal easy. My long antenna whistles above 80 mph though and I have satellite radio). from Ebay June 2017-July 2019 *Chrome delete (this wasn't easy or particularly cheap, and I started 2 years ago, just did the bumper ends ). Done: grill surround, pro-grill insert, badge overlays-matte black, Front bumper ends, 1d6 color matched bumpershellz (messed up the install, made it waaay harder than it is, found the directions once they were on and one was cracked), rear bumper came color matched. Most were used parts found locally or on ebay. Next up: In the next two weeks: -RCI Skid plates -RCI Rock Sliders both to be installed by Toytec in Denver Later (whenever I can pull it off without my wife killing me): *Front winch bumper *Rear arb air lockers *Exhaust upgrade: Bam 8" or OEM PRO *Rear bumper replace Seems there's always one more thing to do...
Anyone running 20x9 Method wheels with 35” tires? Been looking everywhere and there aren’t many pictures, or any really of Methods over 18”. I already have the 35x12.50r20 tires and don’t really have the option to change that. I’m most specifically interested in how the Method “Grid” (mr309) wheels look, in the grey/black color.

Appreciate the picture of the gold rims. I have the mr309 grid style in 20,” grey. They arrived yesterday and I’m puttin em on Monday. Found a picture on a nice looking truck running those. If I had it to do over again I’d get those same rims, but 18” and black. Whatever, not switching it up again. Thanks for sharing Piney.

Can you throw up a few picks of your rig with the methods? Are they 18 offset? Thanks in advance!

My rig one day before surgery.... new suspension, a lot of cutting, 35x12.50s, and chrome delete this week if all goes well.

May be a couple weeks before I do the bumper ends but grill surround, wheels, and even badges should have no shine by mid-week, those bumper ends will drive me nuts I’m sure, but should be gone by June regardless.

Needless to say I’m pretty fired up to see this through. Holding breath til we’re done welding in the BMC, guy I’m working with has done it to a number of tundras and is confident. I’ve watched videos... enough to wig me out a bit cause this truck only has less than 25,000 miles and is still worth around 35k as is.... at least. Til tomorrow anyway.

I originally had a Rough County 6" lift but recently got rid of it and put in ADS coil overs, Deaver leaf springs and ADS rear shocks, which is what Post #6 shows :)

Well, Ter...it was mostly from reading all the posts and build threads on the forum. Lots of people here go wheeling and have replaced their spacer lift with better equipment and setup to handle all the flex you may get on the trail.
Once I knew the route I wanted to go, my friend who goes on trails, he put me in touch with Matt, the owner of MCM Fab Designs in Las Vegas. Matt gave me some quotes on different setups and I picked one that I felt would suit me and my budget.
I drove out there to have him install at his shop. The Tundra now rides smoother and most importantly if I'm on a trail I'm not worried about breaking anything with any flex going over boulders or ruts in the road. I am not a hands-on type of owner, so I knew finding someone I could trust was essential, I found that in Matt. He knows his Tundras and guided me to the best scenario.
I will be posting a build thread soon, so maybe you can get more ideas on what I did then. I will also post a parts list from the invoice on my suspension so you have an idea what I had to have installed and replaced.

Anytime, Ter. I would start with where you want to be, what do you want your truck to do or go? If you will be a mall crawler, spacer lift is fine, but it is ok for light trails as long as you're careful. I you want off-roading, off-grid Mojave or Joshua Tree places to explore, then a Mid Travel setup with good coil overs and good spring leaf pack would be good.

Thanks Pinay. I need to hear that! I’m losing my mind. This has been 2 years of hoping, reading, planning, and finally now having the balls to cut it up and do it right. Saw your note about the shop you used. My local 4x4 shop seems good.... but there’s no way they have the kind of volume experience of the boys at MCM Fab who do it all day every day. I’m not changing plans now... though a road trip to LV woulda been fun.....

It wasn’t an easy decision, just made sense for me and doable, so those far away can still get with Matt and find the best setup and just a matter of finding someone local to do install.

Yeah, so I did roughly the same with Toytec in Denver and landed on the Elka system. It’s unproven, but I own it now. Was gonna do all KING but they ran out literally the day I pulled the trigger. I live in NW CO, about 3 hrs from Denver, so it made sense to go through them, and my local shop uses them all the time for their off road work.

Oh damn. Haha. Sorry, I was going off the website. I missed the 0 one. I'm deciding between a +1 or +20 offset with my OE flares.

No worries! You should still be good on +20.
